I am thinking that when we get to Andromeda and as the Milky Way races try get a foothold that the arks will serve as hubs kind of like mini citadels for the Milky Way species as they try to get established.  I wonder if we will be able to visit the other arks during the course of the game or if we just visit our ark.  I wouldn't be suprised if the arks get attacked either from a hostile Andromeda species or even from a rogue breakaway Milky Way faction.

80% that something like this will happen.

You know, considering the Citadel was a mass relay, maybe this is how we jump around greater distances in the game.  Each of the three ark ships went to a different part of Andromeda and established a three-point mass relay system between them.

Of course, I'm currently on board with the black ark theory and also suspecting that two of the ark ships were destroyed by Reapers before leaving the Milky Way, but it would be interesting if things panned out this way as well.

Interesting that N7 day teaser showed only one Ark, while latest showed three Arks undocking in hurry - take note how they start moving when shuttles haven't even reached them. So there might be some kind of emergency, which wasn't shown yet.

Ooh that would be pretty cool set up our own little relay network in Andromeda.   Doubt that would be happen but that would be really cool.  I tend to think they reverse engineered the black arks myself.

Oh, I'm hoping to see places that are decorated akin to some of the cultures of the different races. An example would be a district that is painted with art that is turian. It could be a neat way to represent the various people trying to keep their cultures alive and remember important things from their history. Could be an interesting way to gain codexes about the Milky Way and the Milkies!

If we are only waking up from cryostasis at the beginning of the game, it could be an interesting case of the enviroment changing as the story goes on.

I think the N7 day teaser was just for show as we saw what an ark looked like and they wanted to show the two galaxies in that shot.     I would not take that shot too literally though since that Ark would have been way off course.

Perhaps each ark is for each species, or multiple Arks are launched towards Andromeda in case of a failure or 1, or each Ark is launched towards different geleaxy (Andromeda, Triangulum, Magellanic Clouds etc)

I'd say most of the OP is assured. I'd be shocked if they weren't hubs very much like the Citadel. Where the heck else would we live? And I'd be very surprised if they weren't attacked by our new enemies by the end of our MEA adventure.

No way, man. This is a video game. We're putting all of our eggs in one basket!

We may be the only ark that survived, or the others might have been sent to other locations.

I hope that is not the case, I mean I can see where it could make things intersting but I would like to see more than one ark make to the Andromeda galaxy.  Of course there is the possibility that if the arks do get attacked in Andromeda that one of them could be destroyed then.

It also lets EA release infinite number of quasi-reboots whenever previous galaxy gets too convulted with choices. "Ohh look, now you start as rookie explorer helping establish home for humanity in Triangulum! 3 games from now it will be another rookie explorer colonizing Great Magellanic Cloud!"

That crossed my mind too but doubt it.

Well that doesn't make any sense now does it from what we've seen.

Considering that Andromeda is about twice the size of the Milky Way there should be more opportunities for habitable planets.  Then again the Milky Way had the benefits of the relay system.  We have no idea what Andromeda has.

I was thinking just that.

It kinds of take the urgency of finding lands to colonize when you already have your self sufficient metropolis with you.

Hopefully there is going to be some problem with the Ark , because I'm going to faint from the thrill and excitement of being a pioneer who mainly need to find fuel for an already build civilisation.

it's safe to say that all civilians stay on the ark ship for a long time after arriving in Andromeda. it's a safe place, created for habitat (which they didn't need during the trip, so why else would it be there).
