Whenever I go up to Garrus and talk to him after a mission and ask him to talk, he'll just say he's busy. Every time. I've already recruited several people and done several missions, but in all this time he's only talked to me once, and that was right after I picked him up. I just thought of it as odd since everyone else is spilling their guts to me and he barely says anything. Is there something wrong with my game and I need to get a new one/ clean the disk, or is he just hard to talk to? Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong here...

I'm getting the same thing with Garrus and Mordin. I'm thinking I should progress through the game but since then I've recruited 3 new crew members since they last talked to me...

This is normal I think. Garrus will talk to you more later, but I don't think it happens until around when you've recruited most of your crew.
