I could go on all day about this subject.

I'll open the thread with one recommendation.

Our KroBro Drack Krogan deserves the omni-shield.  It's a melee weapon in addition to being a defensive tanking tool.

Smacking someone with a burning shield is oh so Krogan.

Drack charges towards the enemy with a firing SMG in hand while covering himself with the omni-shield.

What powers would you bring over to Andromeda?

A Krogan hiding behind a shield?

Does he think he's a Salarian?

Yeah, I don't think a shield fits the Krogan ethos very well. I'm fine with the concept of him being a tech-heavy Sentinel, but I don't like the shield on a Krogan. A Krogan laughs off gunfire and pummels his foes with head butts and fists.

Phase Disruptor or similar on the possible Turian Cabal squaddie.

Biotic Focus wouldn't be very useful on a squadmate.

Shadow Strike

In ME2 it made Kasumi an extremely tactical squadmate.

What if it buffed the party? Would have to be at reduced power of course.

I made a quick list and got to 45 powers (plus grenades) that I thought would be worth looking at from ME3. I'm not sure what value it would have posting that.

Instead I'll try and post my top 10 list of most interesting powers

Singularity

Annihilation Field

Dark Sphere

Biotic Orbs/Seeker Swarms (combine into one power)

Smash (maybe combine with Shockwave but act more like smash without the whips)

Biotic Charge

Phase Disrupter

Siege Pulse

Shadow Strike

Biotic Sphere

There are also some obvious basics that should come back like

Throw

Warp

Marksman

Incinerate

Overload/Energy Drain

I do find Adepts the most fun which I guess is reflected in the list

Our Asari squaddie should come with Annihilation field. :)

I want a break from stereotypes.  Give us an offensive powerhouse Asari

From the leak it said "For example, Cora has the ability to deploy a biotic shield that protects everyone in the bubble while still allowing you and your squad to fire out of it."

Of course that could have changed by now. I do tend to think that Biotic Sphere would be a good choice of powers for a squadmate though.

If I saw a Krogan with a shield, I would assume he beat the previous owner over the head with it and was taking it home as a trophy.

Krogan use giant hammers.

Or failing that, their head.

Oh as for the topic.

I would bring most of the SP powers over, since many of them have been around 2 or 3 games.

The MP stuff has a lot of overlap and some lore bending stuff, nevermind the balance problems.

I think Cora is the female human sidekick we been seeing in every trailer.

Bioware values diversity right.  It's about time they break racial stereotypes in the universes they create.

Let make a human instead of an Asari our designated Adept squaddie.

Fair enough. For some reason I just hadn't considered that.

Defence?  Isn't that what you put up around pyjacks to stop them from running away?

Krogan does not need shield, because Krogan is shield.

but I'd go for the omni shield on Ryder.

Tell that to Wrex after he got owned with a handgun by Shepard in the Citadel Docks.

He can't hear you because he's dead.

Really cause I don't remember that happening to wrex. Last I checked he was having wild monkey sex on Tuchanka.
