At this point I'm simply not interested in any story that re-treads the events of the original trilogy, be it a movie, a TV show, or a remake.
I also don't particularly enjoy convoluted timelines and alternate universe stories.

So long as it doesn't bring that cornball Cyclops back to life then I guess it's fine.

I don't want them to write ME3 off. It's part of our Shepard's and Mass Effect's story after all. I think it's simply to not mention endings in ME:A. We are in new place anyways so it's not like they have to matter there.

We're done with Shepard, and I really don't want to have to deal with the Reapers again because some chump screwed up the timeline.
besides I liked quite a lot of ME3
me too altough that is not a very popular opinion

Me too. Do you reckon it seems like not a popular opinion because we all use small fonts?

That's because the Shepard trilogy came first. If Andromeda was the first Mass Effect game ever released, only to be followed by 3 prequels then it would be a different matter.
Not that the first trilogy doesn't exist, it's just: finished.

Nah, it's because of the hate rants against ME3 I read in the forum

Was it the best entry in series? Nope but it certainly doesn't deserve to be written off

Nope I like the original trilogy and came out satisfied with ME3. The game sold well and was more liked than hated regardless of what BSN would have you believe

It was the best game from gameplay perspective honestly.
-Best Paragon/Renegade system: Introduced Neutral rep, decisions based on total rep allowing you to make Paragon/Renegade choices regardless of P/R points allowing for much more flexible mixed playthroughs.
-Best Weapon loadout system: Any character could pick any weapon with weight being the only factor. Re-introduced weapons with cooldown mechanics
-Better power combos with more primer and detonator powers.
-Character powers expanded allowing for even more character builds. (Shotgun Infiltrators, Biotic Snipers) and the Sentinal class got a huge buff.

There is always a chance for anything for I could be hit my meteor and sue NASA because they failed in preventing it, but its highly unlikely.
BioWare has always said even back with Mass Effect 1 that Shepard's story would be a trilogy and personally I am excited to try something new in the Mass Effect universe for playing Shepard got stale.

I had fun playing Mass Effect 3 and I am able to separate things I dislike from what I like or I think I would have stopped playing games by now.

No, it's just putting distance between the new game and ME3. A lot of distance.

I completely agree, gameplay wise its cut above the ME1 & 2
I meant more so storywise there some bits that made very little sense such as Udina's betrayal & Star Child but aside from that got what I wanted post extended cut dlc.

It'll only distance itself from it from what I see. For a better future, I hope.

Making ME3 not exist.
If it's actually like DOFP, it'll end up making ME2 not exist as well. That would be a real feat. Just imagine a Mass Effect universe where "Ah yes, Reapers" and an entire game devoted to playing Captain Cyborg Space Therapist may or may not have existed.
