I just bought and installed the game but encountered a problem trying to start it.

As soon as I try to play I get an error window just saying "DVDAuthError", I can click OK or Cancel, that's it, no further information.
Another thing that happens, the DVD ain't recognized. I could install the game fine, when I enter either DVD it's recognized, I can run the auto-start/ME2-launcher fine, I can run Mass Effect 1, Dragon Age: Origins and haven't encountered this problem yet with any other game. The DVDs are clean.
I'm using Windows 7 and have already tried running the application in Administrator-mode, both the game.exe and the launcher, no change.

Just re-installed the game in german, the same error message, but a bit more text, roughly translated "Authentification of the disc failed. Please enter the correct disc and try again!".

Great, just great... damn copy-protection-crap... can't play the game I bought and paid for.

Try to load the first DVD. Worked for me.

And suprising that Bioware didn't fixed it yet, Great isn't?

I tried everything and I don't want to download any crap of cracks or any other stuff.

I payed for this game and I except to play it on the dvd or els I could just download it for free on a torrent site.
