I don't know...makes sense they'd ignore it. The ending was controversial, and they'd avoid it for multiple reasons...least not to give them breathing room to tell the story they want and not be chained to the events of three other large games.

Why cannonize it if you can leave it be for now and let people decide how their story ended instead of shoving it back in their faces? I don't see a problem here, and what would they do if they picked something other than the ending you may have liked? It's not a winnable situation, this idea of separating the stories is a good one.

I certainly wouldn't want to deal with all the baggage, in story and out of it. Maybe down the road one day but certainly not after it was left open to be interpreted to a point. It'd be more important to me to tell a new story, something fresh and full of potential that isn't shackled to what was.

I agree perhaps further down the line they can sit down and come up with a way around those endings but for now as we've seen people are still sore about the ME3 endings . Personally I think they've made the right decision in moving ME to a new place and starting again for now. I never hadany problem with ME3's endings but I can understand why a lot of people do. Personally based on what I've seen so far I think it'll be a good game we need to see moer of what Biowaer have in mind first though I think befoer we can judge MEA fairly though. Personally based on what I've seen so far I think I'll like it.

The ME3 Ending!(they are all bad and should be rewritten at the onset of MEA)

That's right they don't have the gumption to canonize the only ending that can push the universe forward (Destroy) and instead they have concocted a space magic plot/lore loop hole somewhere before ME3's ending to dance around something that would be as easy to rewrite as Udina or Anderson for council , Kill or save Rachni queen.

Going to Andromeda doesn't bother me, it's the when and the how that are completely out of line.

It turns MEA into a continuity subverting Pre-Sequel that is contemptuous for it's established canon like how Star Gate Universe did as much as possible to be a separate entity.

They made a mess and instead of fixing a problem they are soft rebooting in a highly annoying manner.

While I don't agree with you on destroy, I generally think you are RIGHT (they should write a genuine end to ME3 - maybe even several. I think they should give that to us just like extended cut DLC (which made things worse IMHO, not better and Joker's still a miserable coward (stay here and fight damned!) who jumps out instead of staying...why? I don't see the other ships leaving!)

Or make us start in this galaxy (fight a few reaper servants, get some tech so that the Arks can be finished in the first place etc. - so we live the story of the Arks and don't just get told "here there be Arks" (more or less)) ;)
