It could be many things. I doubt this is it but I heard Alliance research knowledge and covert operations network. Again I don't know. It could be ark contingency.

Anyway, I'm guessing it's the organization/corporation/consortium body that's responsible for the whole Ark project and journey to Andromeda. I would guess the Council is involved or at least sanctioned the expedition, Alliance military tech is obviously involved as well as Asari and Salarian scientists. That's all we know so far.
At this stage I'm speculating the project emerged sometimes between ME1 and ME3 unrelated to Reaper threat

It's official, from developers' Twitter accounts. It's where the whole ARKCON thing came from. Hexagon logo is visible on www.masseffect.com too

Looks to me like the logo on the PC's armor in the EA Play vid.

Probably something like Ark#1 or AllianceArk to designate which ship our PC and crew are from. A theme seems consistient across all the versions of this logo

That logo on Mac's shirt is the same from our protagonist's armor, which I'm sure everyone already knows by now. (Ninja'd with photos and all, that fast.)

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I like the new armor better than the N7 armor. It looks damn good. I'm not saying it won't be sweet to earn our N7 armor (since we all know that's happening). That's more about the achievement, though. This stuff is very nice looking.

The protagonist is G2, so probably not even a regular soldier.

Yeah I was discussing this with another dude on a different community.
It seems fairly similar to the logo on the shirt, however the logo on the armor is more like an "A"
Could be something like a "Milky Way Alliance" type of logo to represent the MW species on Andromeda?

I'm particularly fond of this armor:
Like a perfect balance of all ME1-ME3 styles complete with lovely orange accent and nice helmet.

Blaze orange accents on armor wouldn't be my first choice. Unless this is some sort of hunting expedition.

Yeah, the old ARKCON logo certainly isn't as distinct from the N7, palette wise, as this is. This is simple and clean. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if they've shifted to this different look.
