I expect that we will be able to customize our armor's appearance quite a bit. ME3's colors felt pretty limited, and I never used them, but they existed, nonetheless. I imagine this game should be much better (or else!!!), in that regard.

Yeah I was discussing this with another dude on a different community.

It seems fairly similar to the logo on the shirt, however the logo on the armor is more like an "A"

 

Could be something like a "Milky Way Alliance" type of logo to represent the MW species on Andromeda?

 

The System Alliance was the name of the representative body of Earth and all human colonies in Citadel space hence the use of the word alliance. As the alliance between the governing bodies of Earth and the various colonies is unlikely to be in effect onboard the ARK(s), I think the A is likely connected to the word ARK. Granted, an alliance is likely in effect between the different parties of aliens but I'd prefer it is the ARK.

 

That is, of course, if it is an actual A and does not simple resemble one from a distance.

Arkcon could have two meanings, I would guess. I bet it probably is either short for "Ark Contingency" (which wouldn't explain the acronym) or "Andromeda Reconaissance something Colonization something something".

That logo on Mac's shirt is the same from our protagonist's armor, which I'm sure everyone already knows by now. (Ninja'd with photos and all, that fast.)

Ark, I'm offering this advice in a friendly way to a newcomer: Use the search feature and look for an active thread before starting a new one. We're swimming in duplicate threads, right now, and I noticed you've created several within your first dozen posts. If there is an active thread, use it. If not, by all means start one. Yeah, I mean it looks like an "A" but it could be just a symbol. I wanted to point how it looked slightly different from the one on Mac's shirt that looks more like a chevron.

Oh, and I meant "alliance" as in an alliance, not the System Alliance. Maybe a logo to represent every and each species from the MW going to Andromeda, or maybe some new organization, who knows.

Oh, you have no idea. Ugh. You'll find people are passionate about some weird things around here. Still, as you said, this is the only good place to discuss Mass Effect in depth.

You did no harm with the multiple threads. We have some guys who open 10 threads daily, after being here for a long time. That's why I figured I'd give you an early heads up about the search feature.

"Ai" is obviously for "Andromeda invasion".

On a serious note, "A" probably means same as "A" in ARCKON, while "i" is for Intelligence.

It's funny how they tease us like this and someone sees it and goes posting like crazy on this website about it lol.

 

Ai...hm...maybe: Alliance Intelligence? (It would fit, we are special forces and we are a scout/intelligence gatherer...so something like Halo's ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence), just not with as many war time powers (so they can't basically do what they want when they want without any regards for laws, human rights etc.))
