WIth BioWare's new IP I'm afraid BioWare will take a hiatus from Mass Effect after Andromeda releases.

I'm sure it won't be the last, nor will they take a hiatus. By the time ME:A comes out it'll be five years since ME3.

 

I imagine the next game after that is already in pre-production by now since Andromeda is in the polishing stages.

Or so they claim...

You don't have to worry about that. The new IP and Mass Effect are being worked on by two completely different studios of Bioware. So if they stop making Mass Effect games, it isn't because of the new IP.

Depends on how it'll play out.

 

Honestly I think we may be looking at a new trilogy. Depends on the ending of Andromeda and how the game is received. If it has good sales, I'm sure EA won't think twice about boosting their budget once more for an encore. Andromeda is supposedly their most ambitious project to date.

Still, I don't think they'll actually stop making ME games (they wouldn't make ME:A if they didn't want the franchise alive after all!)

Why don't you just use the search button instead of making 5 (yes, I counted!) new threads of one-liner questions / wishes you have? 

 

If you use the search button, you'll find that most of the topics you post have been heavily discussed and buried under a page or two.

I didn't know about the forum search bar untill someone told me about it earlier.

I'll be happy as long we'll hang around with Ryder and new cast for atleast 2 games. And 3-4 years between releases will also be nice. It seems EA stopped with yearly releases which is good and 5 years between ME3 and MEA indicates that it's not rushed. I hope
