So I just started the game today, after the introduction, when you wake up in a small room, I found some items in the special shipment box that seem just too good. I want to know if it's normal or if those items are a special benefit for the Legendary Edition or something like that. I always preffer to play the vanilla game at least in the first run, and for me that includes avoiding "premium" items or whatever you like to call them.

 

As I said, I'd like to know if those items are a normal part of the playthrough, and if they are not, why did I get them?

Dagger of the Dragon

Avvar Armor

Stone-Bear Armor

Shokra-taar

Antaam-saar

Medium Armor of the Dragon

Amulet of Master Studies

Ring of Master Studies

Amulet of Martial Determination

Premier Ring of Insight

Ring of Technical Logic

[Thandal N'Lyman]

They are promo/reward items added through having/doing certain versions/DLC, or by having/doing certain things outside of the the game itself.

 

The various armours are the result of having the Deluxe or Inquisitor's Edition or the "Spoils of the xxx" DLC.  The "Ring of Technical Knowledge", (as well as the "Light Torn Steed", which you didn't mention) comes from buying certain Logitech gaming hardware.

 

There may be other ways to obtain those things, but that's how I did it!
