What? I was saying the women that said that they find her attractive might be lesbians or bisexuals. Which, based on what I know about some of the posters, is true.

And even if they're straight, some women finding her cute doesn't mean they think she looks like a man.

I don't have to admit anything. I honestly don't care how she looks like, and I already said I don't find her attractive. I just don't see how she looks like a man. Feel free to believe whatever you want. Sooner or later Bioware will talk more about her, and it'll be evident that they consider her an asari and a woman.

Not that it'll stop people calling her a man, based on previous experience on this forum.

Are women not allowed to like a female character even if they are straight?

Apparently, if they like her she must look like a man.

They wrote themselves into such a corner with ME3 that this "reboot" barely qualifies as one

Cant use the Normany so just design the Tempest to look like Normandy 3.0

Go to another galaxy but drag along every race from the Milky Way because they don't want to let them go

Cant use the Citadel so just design the Ark to be a mini Citadel

Cant use Shepard but still have an N7 character

Main character still working for an official organization

Its funny and sad at the same time. I was hoping for drastic changes, but I guess Mass Effect Andromeda is just going to turn out to be Mass Effect 4.

The only people that are calling this a reboot are the people around here.

They are trying to give the people that complain less to do so, as far as the changes not having changes.  People keep saying that there isn't enough of a connection to the first three games already and if they removed things like the species from the Milky Way or the N7 symbol those people would have more ammunition for their arguments.

If they stayed in the Milky Way there would be outrage that they didn't incorporate the endings enough or if they make a canon ending that the choices they made were ignored so really no matter what BioWare does there are going to be people that feel the same way you do.  There is no way that BioWare could have made a sequel to Mass Effect 3 even if the endings were different that would have made people happy.  Since people were even outraged that they canonized Uldina being the human ambassador to the Council over their choice of Anderson.  It made sense storywise, but people still were angry and I can only imagine what it would be like around here if they canonized an ending or one that the majority of the people talking about it didn't like such as Synthesis for we don't know what the most popular ending was only the most popular ending among the people that say it around here.

Now someone mentioned pie, I think I am going to have a piece.

You might want to look at a picture of the Normandy to compare it to the Tempest. Outside the using white, red and black paints and elongated fuselage (which all Alliance and Turian ships have), they don't look similar at all.

wow, Normandy look like patchwork, still love it though.

Which asari headbutted someone in the trilogy?

I thought all Mass Effect game screw its sequels.. ME1's barely there main plot, the sudden retcon with Shepard's dying, The Collectors and Cerberus in ME2 and how "Reaper is Coming" is sounding more like GRR Martin's anthem until ME3 finally drop the whole reaper war on the narrative. ME2 also digs its own plot-holes by making all twelve companions being dead-or-alive optional.

But I'm glad that they decide to create an entirely new game in a new universe using ME framework. No need to mess with that shitstorm.

Btw, was  there a criteria that a woman should all look feminine to be a woman?

I'm a free citizen of earth, princess. I moved to Australia in my late 200s with Aria and the little ones. This was just after I saved Sur'kesh and got this Spectre gig. Its great, Australia's like Tuchanka but habitable.

Nice people too they really know how to kill stuff around here.

Sharks.

Krogans can't be Spectres. And Aria prefers women.

Lol right? As a straight woman, that's news to me. I certainly wasn't aware that the only reason I liked her design is because she supposedly resembled a man. Thank you BSN for enlightening me on my own aesthetic preferences!

She was half Krogan it doesn't count. This one has to head-butt of her own accord.

Coz she likes it that way......

No. People like what they like and it doesn't matter the reason. Anyone who says to the contrary is just trying to force their viewpoint on others.

Agreed

Cant use the Normany so just design the Tempest to look like Normandy 3.0

Agreed

Go to another galaxy but drag along every race from the Milky Way because they don't want to let them go

They have a valid excuse as to why they would bring almost all other races so this one is not a valid complaint imo

Cant use the Citadel so just design the Ark to be a mini Citadel

Agreed

Cant use Shepard but still have an N7 character

Agreed

Main character still working for an official organization

No problem with this and don't see it as a big negative.

Its funny and sad at the same time. I was hoping for drastic changes, but I guess Mass Effect Andromeda is just going to turn out to be Mass Effect 4.

It all depends on how they implement the things they are going to do.  I would have to listen to your drastic changes before I even thought they would be better or not that what we seem to be getting.

I never expected this…

1) Where is it officially stated that this is a reboot? I don't recall one source that stipulated such.

2) The Normandy, SR-1 and (for some reason) SR-2, was a reconnaissance frigate. Much like frigates, other classes, they tend to look alike. Shocking, no?

3) Maybe there were some ideas they still wanted to continue with?

4) Well, if the B.ARK theory has any bearing, then yeah. Duh.

5) Maybe they're Star Trek fans?

6) See '5'.

Hoping for drastic changes, yet don't note any. O'rly.

Screwed up? No.

Divisive? Certainly.

In a corner? Hell yes.

But the way they are headed appears to adequately handle leaving Mass Effect behind, whilst, er, retaining Mass Effect.

Sometimes the most inventive art is produced under stress and they have had a dose of that..
