Extended Barrel and Piercing Mod are the most useful, so your current setup should work just fine. I'd avoid scopes as the recoil on the Lancer is pretty high, and ammo mods are also unneccesary because of the cooldown system, and as long as you are not holding down your fire button and shoot like a madman and allow ammo to regenerate when it is down to around 30% you should be fine.
For the Lancer (on Shepard):
- extended thermal clip mod for more ammo
- piercing mod or the piercing barrel mod from the Omega DLC
I forget what the exact names are off-hand.
Basically for the Lancer, you want more bullets before overheating, and you want a mod that can penetrate cover/ignore armor defenses.
The extended barrel for more damage is not that important on the Lancer, particularly if you are using Warp Ammo like you say you are.
This is a reason I go with AP ammo rather Warp ammo. I get piercing without the mod so that I can run an extended clip and an extended barrel.
You really need the bigger magazine (even if you have the Lancer at X), so I always use the Extended Mag + Piercing Mod. If I'm messing around in the Arena, then it's Extended Mag and Extended Barrel.
Come to think of it, I only really use it in the Arena.
Magazine is always helpful on "infinite" ammo guns like PPR and Lancer.
The second mod should probably be piercing if not running AP ammo, and Extended Barrel if you are running it. Keep in mind though that AP Ammo power in SP does have a 50% damage penalty through cover, unlike in MP where the consummable does full damage through cover. But still, cover penetration is a huge advantage.
