Woah ... After months of threads on almost every possible romance/sex partner that could be thought of, the board finally coughs up a taboo it still has? Teenagers ... I did not think this would ever happen.

I know it exists.

 

But this is the far future when such things as teen moms can be avoided. Given some of the wilder things that have been posited on this board to allow for this or that romance, I figured that age of consent would be the least of anyone's worries.

 

Not that I really want to romance characters who act like children, it was why I never went for Liara myself - she acted like a preteen in the throws of a crush in the first game and it creeped me out, but I find it interesting how some taboos apparently are still hard and fast while others get tossed all willy nilly out the window at the first opportunity.

It's funny that when talking about younger characters people always point to Liara.

 

but Tali literally mentions she's on her passage into adulthood in Mass Effect 1 which notes she was just barely an adult in terms of actual age and many of us still wanted to bang her.
