The 'Confessions' thread is touching on this, but I'm curious what this ratio would be for people -- for all 5 weapon classes.
As for me (ratio of amps acquired:amps utilized):
AR - 2:3
SMG - 2:3
SG - 1:1
Pistol - 1:1
SR - 8:1

I ain't doin no math. The store is a shotgun amp hoarder.
This math is just comin' from the gut.
255 of everything

Is this via console command? I tried screwin' with CheatEngine, but the updated value stored in memory didn't behave quite like I thought it would.
you can do it that way
I did it in the store over time, not all at once mind you but then you top it off when youre bored with pugland
its not hard if youre buying characters cards when promoting either
I need shotgun and cyclonics....
I keep them all even or conserve more of my favourites on consoles. On PC, I use what I want because space magic dictates so.
giveallmatchconsumables as needed.
I even have it keybound
On average I have not used as many as I have obtained for all of them, which is why they are not zero. I don't know a real fraction.
I rotate weapon classes though so I don't burn through all the amps for one type. Also mix in the Targeting VI's since I have a whole lot of them.

U filthy cheater ! Using more amps than acquired !

Thanks to the Bank of Phat Space Magic, I had massive piles of weapon III amps. Plus I buy SPs all the time to replenish my stock. But I can't help but notice how my SMG & AR amps keep dwindling away...meanwhile my SR IIIs sit at 255 or 254 -- nonstop.

How exactly does this work? I enter "giveallmatchconsumables" in the console during a match? Or in the lobby? Does it need anything else?

In General i use all im always dried up on shotgun II+III amps, AR and pistol III amps are always scarce for me and i use VI for these 3 to compensate when possible.. Smg ams i got a shitload of and i rarely use snipers.
I am thinking about doing something about it in console because the amps and lack of cyclonics and poweramps basically dictate on what i take.

Dunno if it works during a match, but what I do is entering it while in the lobby or before searching for a pug. As long as you do it outside the 4 specific equipment selection screen (ammo, armor, weapon, gear) it should work. Just like with most console commands, you need to load new screens for the items to appear. Thinking about it, it may work too if you do it while in those 4 screens, then exiting and opening again, but I don't remember.
Well, the command doesn't do anything so I assume there's something else I need to do first besides enabling the console?
Or maybe, several days later, I'll realize this was a prank and there is no such command at all?

There is, and it works. It just doesn't work in an obvious way. (I had a similar issue when first trying it.)
Firstly, it's just easiest to use it on the screen before you choose ammo/weaponamp/armor/etc
Then, when you go into the screen to pick, say, Incendiary Rounds IV, giveallmatchconsumables will add one of every item you don't already have.
So say you are out of Cyclonic IV's, but have 203 Cyclonic III's.
You will receive one Cyclonic IV, and no Cyclonic III's.
Also, if you don't have it keybound, after you've typed it you can press the up arrow key next match/game/session to scroll through your previous sent messages. If you don't textchat much you can access it quicker that way than retyping it.
Also2... When you go to the store, load into a lobby, basically anything that has you connecting somewhere else, it is possible some of what you have equipped will disappear. Often times only my ammo and armor slots will disappear, while my Geth Scanner and Weapon Amp will stay. Just redo what you did and reequip and everything should be fine.

Pretty much that
Ok, thanks. Well, no wonder nothing changed... I had at least one of everything already. Although... if stuff disappears sometimes, maybe I won't use that command after all, otherwise GiPs will be annoying.

To clarify... I've never not had equipment show when I'm GiP'd. Just when coming back from the store or entering a lobby.
I'm not 100% sure about host migration though. It's happened and I still had my equipment, but that's just circumstantial.
Basically just check that it's there before you greenlight the mission.

Agreed on the GiP part. In my case it has happened only after leaving and joining several lobbies. I no longer use the store, so can't speak about that.
Edit: I think that if I had checked my equipment before searching for a new lobby after leaving one I would have probably noticed my equipment already missing. I'll try to test it when real life lets me.
