Yes, I agree. It's supposed to be fun as a TEAM. But some of the pros here are used to the game too much so they forget about the rest and have fun on their own. That's why I feel out of league.

I love having fun while playing but I'd have fun as a team, I'd never exclude the noobs or anyone else.

I'm not a charity case.

Dunno if this will help your situation but here's mah story.

I could very easily be the same "pro" (I use that loosely) that runs around, particularly if it was Gold or lower since I can pretty much solo those with a high likelihood of success.

What I do instead, is switch out my kit. Say I'm playing with someone that's learning on silver.

I'll switch over to Vorcha and try and light melee everything I see. Or the Turian Havoc and doublestrike everything. Basically, I take the fun things (for myself) and run around doing those. Yes it's gimping myself, but it's a rare fun activity for me.

***

Also the PS3 is probably on the backburner for 4-8 weeks. Canada Post is likely going on strike or getting locked-out July 2-5. That means I'll literally not have a job for the duration they are on strike. I'll be able to get EI, Employment Insurance, a tax Canadians pay that helps if you unexpectedly are out of work. But that takes a month and a half at least of red tape to crawl through.

For now, I get to be paranoid and hoard my monies till I have some reassurance I'll have a job next month. <_<

(Also a great time to job hunt for something not lame.)

Not what I meant at all..... lol :) Playing with you will be so much fun I think, I seriously can't wait!

And I'm sorry to hear about your job situation, I know all about being low on cash or knowing the need to be careful with it, these days there are more important things to spend money on. I do hope you get one soon though, it will be worth the wait and I can practice getting better in the meantime :)

It does take skill to use it on console. There aren't many people who use it there. For me it took several days of focused practice to even get decent with the Venom, and I'm still not perfect with it, albeit getting better and better looking at my solo times. I have seen there's a huge difference between a decent and a good Venom user on conslow.

I agree it's easy mode on PC, as I could casually do a sub17 Valkyrie solo with it on my first try. The mouse aiming makes things a LOT easier. I think that's why there is a difference in our opinions  :)

I'd gladly remove fantum DR on PC, but then no place in the HoF and then no epeen  :( (Unless I keep it secret )

Well yeah, I can see that making a difference.

As for the HoF, just hang the epeen up already, and have fun. Claymoring the bitches' heads off with a big BOOOOOM is among the most satisfying things in this game! ;)

Since I'm still a noob it means that you'd still play with me :)

Well, I think most of those veterans wanted to share their passion for the game with those that have new manifests. We're all human afterall.
I still learn from those same pros regularly, there are just so much to learn. And after 6000 games some just can't help but be hyper efficient B)

Some players never get the chance to play with one of those dawgs - 3 is heaven sent. But I have also seen players isolating themselves afterwards in such games, deeply ashamed, since is quite a hit on a overblown self-confidence And overwhelming that efficiency....

But the game also requires one to study the game itself and/or resource library and make up your style yourself.
Maybe , such a point has been reached, now, and you are ready to spread your wings, thank them for the free platinum fish (hoorra douglas adams ), filled to the brim in fat credits and fly!

You'll now meet a cacophony of self-righteous pugs out there , with pretty strange misinformation (making you doubt yourself, or wasting many hours because you believed them, or having a good golden nugget as tip, or totally mute )- since there are no natural cross check of another dawg. But hey! that's the fun!
Enjoy the journey ! Carpe Diem!

You can always visit Loufi Tavern (with bright red lights), share a ale and talk of adventure and lore, with us at AHF...

Fuen, I'll always play with you, you know that :)

Gotta admit you have a point. I think their intentions were good though, I just didn't learn much that way yes. I got a lot of credits easy and fast, that's the way I got help but beyond it you're right, they got all the kills because they got to do everything, plus they're so used to being good that they're not taking the game seriously anymore.... they're just f'ing around. I don't know, I feel like I don't need any charity anymore, so I'll get better on my own, I think it'll make them happy as well, not to get stuck on a noob :)

The best way to learn is by doing things yourself :) you could watch videos of pro swimmers for years and still drown in a pool... you have to actually get in the pool and swim yourself to learn properly even if people teach you how to swim while youre in the pool... even if youre being given advice if youre doing it yourself thats what matters!

... I saw someone say armor piercing ammo doesnt work on the Adas rifle but yesterday I went ahead and tried it anyway and sure it didnt work of course it didnt but it was my own experience and no experience is bad experience even if you can have A bad experience :) you have to learn from your mistakes and have an understanding of what works and you cant do that if youre using what works for other people all the time instead of figuring it out for yourself... if youre getting no experience and not making your own mistakes youll learn nothing... some things you just have to do for the fun of it or because youre curious like its easy to take advice and not press a big red button but youll never know what it does until you push it yourself :)

... that was such a normal thing to say... normal people would say things like that. Yay for me :) Haha apparently im better at saying things like that than I am at doing them but still!

Plus you can reload cancel the hidden reload making it even more effective, part of the reason I'll take the claymore over the reegar on the AIU any day of the week.

Same here.

Hey, the crappy sound isn't a poor argument nor an excuse. It's something that is really important to some of us! :P

I know you don't feel like that and don't understand it, but that doesn't mean that your favorite gun doesn't sound like a crappy tincan being tossed in the streets! :P

Deal with it! :P

Couple of things: any character can actually OHK ravagers with a Claymore. And you would use it every 5.2 secs if you didn't have access to the weight armor slot that I can't recall the name of. It's more like 4 secs with that.

That's my favorite italian !  :D  :P

Spoiler

As for the Claymore one-shot killing Ravagers, certainly not without the use of a power that primes, debuff, provides incendiary glitch or a massive boost to weapon damage like Tactical Cloak. I can provide video evidence if needed.

Also, no thanks for power efficiency modules, I prefer using other armor bonuses, which are all better. Besides, I don't need them with my Wraith. :P

Of course. I was just pointing that out that if you use a Claymore you'd better use those modules on that kit.

And actually you just need a shotgun amp III and a good ammo IV. If you shoot from the right angle, you need no power, nor active nor a passive boost. You just need to double hit them.

(also, lol @ the picture :D )

YES the VENOM takes skill to use. Most people don't even know how to hit or bank shots off walls with it.It's not just point and shoot.

"But awl you heff ta do is aim at dar feet!"

Yeah all you have to do with a Claymore or Phalanx is aim at their body.

Shotguns are getting some love in The Division, you'd like it. Think SASG with 14 round mag and really high DPS... :D

But yeah, how could the Claymore not be in a Mass Effect game from now on? Let's just hope it doesn't get the Revenant or Locust treatment.
