It might be your favorite gun, none is arguing against that, but everyone with at least a basic understanding of the game knows that there is no such thing as "dominating platinum" with it.

When your score is over triple the guy in the second slot's and more than 2/3 of the kills had your name on them in the feed the only word that accurately describes that is "dominating".

The Shuriken has objectively the worst stats in the game, bud. Now, skilled players rocking unlikely characters with unlikely guns have had success in platinum, but any player of similar skill with a better weapon is immediately going to outclass that Shuriken. Your situation is not one of a weapon being the exemplar for destruction; it only shows us that the other three guys probably just plain sucked.

Pretty much this. Even with a kit like the Justicar or the Huntress vs Reapers where a lot of damage comes from powers, you would still need to team up with 3 insanely bad players to "dominate" with that gun.

Yeah, I mainly use the original human engineer with a hurricane. It's really not a bad kit, but it's definitely not the best. I've played games where I come out with ten times the score of the players combined, but I readily confess that when I play with at least one other guy who is as good or better than me with a kit that is as good or better than mine, that score gap shrinks or vanishes, or I lose the lead entirely. The two other players might still suck straight **** out of a hemorrhoidy ass, but the one guy at least is going to keep up or overtake me.

If you are having fun with it. Then. Why not? If it is fun, one tends to excel anyway at something, irrespective of the hard stats. It's like a personal entourage. Even excelling against others are relative. Fun, fuenf, fun

- with an infiltrator, enough power to strip a footman's shield, and then take his head with the next bullet

- looks sexy in black with an extended barrel

- quick mook kills from a distance with minimal exposure time required like any sniper rifle

 

I'd say the talon as well, but that gun is just too damn easy. The harrier's damage may be a smidge too high per bullet, but don't get me wrong; we did need an accurate standard-style AR that actually does good damage per bullet without having to be backed up by damage steroid powers.

- Love the aesthetics

- Love the noise

- Love the cooldown mechanic

- Light enough for a caster but still packs a punch

- Versatile - full-auto spray for CQB, but with cover-boosted accuracy can pop headshots at mid-to-long range  

 

I was a member of the Lancer 0 club for far too long, but it was worth the wait. The only problem is that for some reason my armorer insists on mounting barrel extensions on the integrated scope

Seeing how Pewt (was this his name? Can't remember exactly...) soloed gold with a stick coming out of his mouth as mouse and pad key presser, I'm pretty sure that a decent blind player would outscore someone using the shuriken on platinum

And @Marksmad: haha, yeah, why not! I had one game some weeks ago after months of being away, and it was pretty horrible lol. I kept running around strafing, trying to jump and change my visual angle behind every corner

I used the Geth Plasma Shotgun properly for the first time today. I've never really used shotguns before but I really enjoyed using it. The Claymore is my other favourite shotgun now, as well.

The talon as far as pistols go is my favorite.

-Native shield gate bypass

-Shield/Barrier Damage

-Good accuracy

-Scope turns it into a sniping shotgun

 

Heavy pistols in this game sound be renamed to pocket (insert weapon category here). You have pistols covering every kind of other weapon class. In the Talon's case it's one of the better shotguns of the game. Place a heavy barrel on it with a piercing mod and it just wrecks everything.

Wraith on Drell Adept and for some reason the Collector Assault Rifle on Turian Ghost have been pretty fun lately.

 

Also didn't want to start a new thread for this but I just maxed my rare weapons primarily purchasing arsenal packs.  Which packs should I concentrate on now?  From I gather reserve packs give me the best odds for Ultra Rare weapons.  Anybody else agree or is that completely wrong?

They all give the same rate but arsenal don't drop common character cards so you get more consumables

In light of recent events the Falcon and Venom are my new favorite weapons well because grenades.  Also the Striker gets an honorable mention.
