Hamletic Tortoise said yesterday, that the Huntress/Crusader is awesome as well ... but I guess, the Huntress is awesome with anything ^^

 

She needs a heavy-hitting weapon IMO, since she is specced purely for power damage. I can't reload-cancel the Claymore reliably, and I like the flexibility that the Crusader affords her: multiple shots, effective at all ranges, stopping power... I use warp ammo and try to maximize DC's priming effect: catch a spawn, DC a mook, shoot its head off, track where DC jumps, shoot its head off, and when the cooldown resets, use warp for a biotic explosion. This works well even against geth/cerberus, where all the shields slow her DC's killing power down: you still gain a sizeable damage bonus thank to warp ammo.

She is incredibly effective against Collectors: slow moving, so they tend to clump together, big heads, no shields to slow her down, and DC continues to prime and damage even if the Huntress gets hit with a swarm.

 

Claymore + incendiary rounds is quite fun too, her warpcheese is SO superior to all others

 

Totally agree, but I am always short on incendiary rounds, and I find there are other classes which benefit more from them

(also, I do think the Valkyrie's warpcheese is of superior quality, but we are basically splitting hair, since they both are grossly overpowered )

 

 

OT:

The Lancer is the one gun I could imagine putting on every kit in the game, so there is that;

The Widow was the gun with whom I made the jump to Gold, so it holds a special place for me. Always a pleasure to load it on the SI and/or QFI;

I love the gimmick of the Javelin (my absolute favourite gun in the SP), though I don't use it that much.

I use the particle rifle on my huntress and it does absolutely melt things. cast DC and just follow with the beam. CD resets and then boom.

Saber is the one I have had the biggest change of heart on since I didn't like it all that much when I first used it, but it is one of my favorites now.

 

Harrier I appreciate mainly because it was the first assault rifle that felt like an assault rifle.

It's pretty good on a juggernaut. Spitfire was made only for juggernaut then the developers took pity on other squishy classes and allowed those weaklings to wield it with a movement speed penalty

But i also really like the Widow  on my HI. Love the sound , its clear and clean single shot resonance , something classy about it .Off host sometimes it acts weird but i love it nonetheless.

I tend to just double down on power damage with her, and I use a weapon that I can put a power amp on.  I feel like the Arc Pistol is probably the best bet.  If you're one of those people who use it on everything, the Paladin (heavy barrel) is great, if you don't mind not having any AP ability.  With Warp Ammo, you're not going to see any noticeable effect on your weapon DPS due to armor DR.  I guess you could always use the Power Amp and AP mod or carry a SMG with an AP barrel as a sidearm.  Executioner and Hurricane are also excellent choices.

well on bronze, silver its fine on gold and platinum its not so good; on gold and plat i like to use reegar with my juggy

Those are all very valid choices! For a while, I used the Executioner pistol on her, and it made for a nice combo I would add the Talon as another great pistol for her - stripping shields fast makes her DC even more fearsome. Personally however, since TC's mechanics basically make cooldowns irrelevant, I favour big heavy guns on her (and on most infiltrators, as a rule). All the weapons you mention already perform really well on other asaris/casters, so I went looking for something different to put on her. As long as it's something that hits hard though, it will shine on the huntress

It doesn't really need the ammo mod. It has plenty of it, it just needs more damage and a ton of piercing.

I wouldn't even bother with him man, honestly. It's clear that someone pulled the trigger of the High Lord a bit too close to his head and the concussion damaged his brain and his capability of spelling CLAYMORE right.

 

There's no need to fight him, he's actually a follower of the High Lord even though he can't spell its name. I mean, we either let him be without problems or we put him out of his misery. I'd choose the second, but I'm retired™.

 

Also, the High Prophet is on vacations in the sunny beaches of Tuchanka as well. We have taken a break from his Mighty Boominess, just to play around with other inferior toys and once again come back to the High Lord with our greatest possible admiration and depth of faith.

I'm not sure what the joke was about with Cassandra Saturn, but if it's about making fun of deaf people you were right to point it out, because it's way less forgivable than having bad taste in weapons. The statement isn't really offensive per se but let's say that the mention to Cassandra Saturn was unnecessary, to say the least.

Well that's why I said something. Being deaf is a handicap, something you can't help as a person. No matter how weird or strange that person may or may not be, that person didn't choose to be deaf, it could have happened to any of us. I just dislike making fun of such things. If you really have to, make fun of the person, not the handicap.

The point wasn't to make fun of deaf people of course, as I would hope anyone who know me can understand. I was just making fun of Cassandra. And that's not for them being deaf, transgender or whatever, but because, quite honestly, they're pretty obnoxious. I don't care if someone is deaf or transgender or anything else, as Onewomanarmy said, that isn't a choice. But being obnoxious and spreading lies left and right is.

 

All in all, I understand that what I said might still feel too harsh. I'll just offer my apologies to anyone who got offended and say that I'm sorry if it was of bad taste.
