I really like the Reager Carbine, just tried it out again and it's a killer machine!! The only downside are the ammo clip, it can't carry much and then the fact I need to be close up to the enemies in order to shoot them. But I carry the Arc Pistol with me as a second weapon and that makes up for the distance.

The reegar is widely acknowledged has a broken weapon, the most broken. It's probably the only weapon I would honestly describe as "O.P.". Even the Harrier has mitigating factors in ammo box consumption. (Actually I think the Harrier is a very precise weapon, if you don't make headshots you're doing it wrong.)

I know my reegar gun is only level 3 but I dont think its too powerful when I first used it which was when it was level 3 I was kinda disappointed... I think I said it was a blue mist which didnt do anything haha... then someone told me to use incendiary ammo on it and that made it a little better but its still not my favorite gun... its one of my least favorites I think... I prefer the arc pistol or the Piranha or the Claymore for sure

Reeger is stupidly op gun and that is why it is boring to many people. It's in the league of TGI, Snap cheese and flamer. Well ...not as annoying as last 2, but you get the idea. I think I confused you a little more. XD

I do like to use it though, a lot of people tells me to use it, so I don't understand. The only problems I see with it are the ammo clip being very low and the fact that you have to be very up close to actually hit your targets but otherwise it's a killing machine!!!

Yes I agree it has so little ammo in the magazine and like the ones left over... thats one of the reasons why I dont like it... id try and kill a marauder but before it died id run out and have to reload and then shoot again and with the next marauder id have to do the same so 2 marauders and id have no ammo left... and same with all my guns theyre good against small things (mostly) but do literally nothing to the big things on any difficulty not even bronze... thats why I play adepts and engineers because my guns are so bad so far haha... I think my favorite shotgun is the Crusader or the disciple

Good positioning (RHA!) and/or tanky respectivly fast kits make up for the short combat distance. Everything - even boss units in case of incendiary ammo - will die in one or two clips. So ammo capacity shouldn't be a big issue.
You'll learn to dislike the gun after you had your 6852nd Reegar/AIU in the lobby (because there is no, realy NO other gun an AIU can use) melting everything.
