He's having a laugh, as the brits would say. (I think.)
The reegar is widely acknowledged has a broken weapon, the most broken. It's probably the only weapon I would honestly describe as "O.P.". Even the Harrier has mitigating factors in ammo box consumption. (Actually I think the Harrier is a very precise weapon, if you don't make headshots you're doing it wrong.)
Up to gold yes I also consider the Reegar to be a bit over kill since the enemy units don't have so many hit points and you can be close to them since they don't do so much damage.
For Platinum it's a bit different and the Reegar is OP on some kits but not all, slapping the Reegar on the Fury and take on the Geth on Condor probably wouldn't end so well.

Over powered.
It's a common abbreviation in games, often connected to the term "nerf" which is basically when people loudly complain that different weapons and abilities are to powerful and need to be toned down or removed.

1. High lord.
2. Talon
3. CSMG ( I absolutely love this gun .. Over hurricane any day. Lite as hell, Applies ammo perfectly, good against armor)
4. Black widow/Javelin/Valiant.
5. Scorpion ( It's unique.. Make phantoms look hilariously stupid).
6. Don't use ARs that much. Carrier on Batarians and Drell.

Disagreed, first off, I don't see that many AIU anymore, when I do, most of the time they're not using the reegar anymore but a claymore, wraith, raider or even a crusader. Then, as long as you're not abusing an op kit with an op weapon to do heavy scorewhoring you should feel free to use and love any weapon or kit. I don't use the reegar very often but I love using it on a tgi, krolord or kroguard and you can be sure I won't be holding back when I do. Reegar is a beatiful weapon that melts everything away, just like the flamer is a wonderful tool that burns everything to the ground. Just don't abuse it and you'll have the blessing of the Reegar Supreme God (that would be me)Good positioning (RHA!) and/or tanky respectivly fast kits make up for the short combat distance. Everything - even boss units in case of incendiary ammo - will die in one or two clips. So ammo capacity shouldn't be a big issue.
You'll learn to dislike the gun after you had your 6852nd Reegar/AIU in the lobby (because there is no, realy NO other gun an AIU can use) melting everything.

I also recommended the Claymore, saying that it one-hit killed basically every non-boss on her. The list also included the Piranha. The Crusader came highest recommended simple because it's a higher level than her Claymore, with more ammo, and I've seen General use a Sniper Rifle, it MIGHT be better suited to them (haven't seen her with a Shotgun yet, I don't think).
Personally, I use the Raider on EDI. She's also the only character that I use it on. Reegar goes to the Valkyrie (the OP-ness of this combo is off the scales). Piranha goes to the GI. Claymore goes to the QFE (And sometimes the QMI). Venom goes to the Drellguard. Wraith goes to the airlock, because it sounds stupid, and Claymore is better anyway. I still don't have a Crusader kit though, even though it's up to a IX now I think, just haven't found the right combination for it (for me).

So you have an different experience regarding Reegar/AIU. That's ok for me, I would love to see more of the combos you mentioned.
In fact I never said anyone should not use it. I was only trying to express my dislike for a gun that teaches bad habits to newcomers because you don't have to aim properly but have massive DPS (the more with IA). That way you can score high without too much effort and without learning to aim.
But all in all I don't care too much for it. A skilled Reegar player might kind of break the coop part by melting everything on his/her own but speeding up the match. An unskilled Reegar player will die tryin'.

For some reason I've always felt like wraith belonged to batarians, I use it a lot on soldier and vanguard. I've also tried it on the vanilla human inf on gold, it worked really well and it was fun.I also recommended the Claymore, saying that it one-hit killed basically every non-boss on her. Yeah I'm having a hard time using bsn on smartphone so I quoted your post when I was mostly answering the reegar bashing by Dovakin? Have you tried it on the GI, Demogirl, Destroyer, QFI, Shadow, Drell Assassin, Huntress, Batdept, KroSent, TSol, Quarksman, Cabal, QMI, or QME?

Wraith is the kind of gun that works on most kits in the game, it's so light that it don't affect power re-charge so much and at the same time it offers very high burst damage at close range, put a smart choke on it and you will be able to hit targets at a distance, the Wraith is one of the better guns in the game.

I'm sorry, but if you're unlucky enough to run into me on a pug, I will have have an "OP" or meta kit. Because I'm not good enough to not have these on. I play this game a lot obviously, but I have to take a good kit in case I have to solo a wave or 2. I would classify myself as a slightly above average player, but I can't solo platinum and struggle to solo gold. So I take "OP" kits into gold. I'm not trying to be an ass about it, but so many on here complain about people taking OP kits into pugs, but the simple fact is that 99% of people playing this game are not as good as the people complaining about OP kits. I'm sorry, but my scrubby ass has to use level IV consumables in a gold on most kits I play. Not trying to start a flame war, just trying to give an average players perspective.
I personally don't care what you use as long as it's not something like a piercing mod on an adas. Gives me a challenge to try to outscore the op kits with not-so-op kits and low level equipment, but I'm not going to not do objectives to score ******. I just don't like the fact (probably conformation bias) that most people I've run into w/ mics using these kits are dicks and annoying as hell.

The rhythm of the Wraith messes with me, personally. People talk about its sound, but that means nothing to me...all I care about is how it fits into the flow of my gameplay. The RoF is even more noticeable during the reload process than when it's firing. The animation takes so long to start, it's like I'm sitting there with my arms out waiting for it ("um, hello?")...then the gun goes "oh crap, sorry!" and hastily reloads.

Agreed, I meant that in another way, you know like claymore feels and is krogan, csmg is definitely collector, harrier's cerberus, reegar probably quarian but feels turian to me, somehow a wraith looks like a weapon batarians could have made to meWraith is the kind of gun that works on most kits in the game, it's so light that it don't affect power re-charge so much and at the same time it offers very high burst damage at close range, put a smart choke on it and you will be able to hit targets at a distance, the Wraith is one of the better guns in the game.
