Since, there is a Ryder family, do you think they would ever attempt to offer an incest romance? Or is the world not ready for that yet? Bioware has always been a progressive company, and in this case, we're talking about a consensual relationship between two adults. If you disagree with this, that's fine. But at least try to give me a reason other than "its gross".

Honestly, I almost think you're going to see just as much backlash for this being another romance thread than for it being an incest thread specifically. 

 

But ultimately, "it's gross" actually is the best answer. Assuming the goal of the devs is to create something pleasing to players, the idea of using up resources on content that's so frequently considered deeply unpleasant seems foolish.
