So you think society is getting worse? And what time frame are you comparing it to exactly? Go back some years and you'll find that homosexuality was illegal. Go back further and interracial marriages weren't allowed either. Going back even further, we see the acceptance of slavery, conquest, extreme bigotry, etc.

 

We are living in the most peaceful time in history at the moment. Global standards of living have been at their highest in recent decades, than ever before. I don't really buy the whole "the end of civilization and decency is coming!" argument.

A lot Social Media sites just let a bunch of wackos out of their dark hole, wearing masks. Not everyone surely but I've seen first hand the fullest extent of human cruelty and delusion.

So stupid people survive, only nobody smart wants to breed with someone that stupid. So they breed with each other. Producing equally stupid but physically attractive offspring. Who then use their looks to spread stupid genes to otherwise healthy bloodlines.

There are good human beings out there. I like to think I'm decent but we all have skeletons in our closets. My point is that kind, honest moral people have been in short supply forever.
