Eletania type. Beautiful and welcoming... but not really.

A pandora type world would be pretty cool if they imply like time changes into the game so that it doesnt feel like your always going planet side at the same time of the day

Kinda curious what BW's interpretation of a "living" world would be like. Also, a world that's nearly destroyed, with island-sized chunks of earth floating in the air, but there's still just enough of an atmosphere to support life.

Something akin to Illium, the atmosphere was so alluring. At that point, I really wished ME2 was open world. The skyline was so beautiful.

Back when Bioware was asking people their opinions, I had only two recommendations: inhabitable moons orbiting gas giants (which might be incredibly commonplace in the universe) and planets that have different colored foliage depending on the solar maxima of their star (which should also exist in the universe).

The trailers have demonstrated that they are doing the first, as both the desert world and a separate world with red foliage both are the moons of gas giants (the first you can see the gas giant in the sky of the trailer from last year, and the second is hard to miss, there's a beautiful Jovian planet and another moon hanging in the sky). And it's possible that the red trees of the second may indicate that they are going to create more diversity by different foliage too. If so, I'm doubly happy, and I was already happy to begin with.

Hopefully planets with big cities, although I suspect it will be lots of wilderness and small settlements.  DAI didn't really do cities, so I'm already worried since there has been so much focus on exploration.

I don't really even want to see gigantic maps.  But I would like to see a variety of locations that are all different from each other.

An ecumenopolis (planet-spanning city) like Coruscant from Star Wars.  Except long dead, abandoned, reclaimed by wildlife, and with a deep mystery as to its demise.

A planet covered in old ruins that looks both beautiful and sad/abandoned. A bit like Ilos and the Chozo ruins from Metroid Prime.
