So, who's going to PreOrder it regardless? I'll be putting the Deluxe/Collectors/Whatever on PreOrder the day it's announced.  Mass Effect is the only series you'll see me do this, otherwise I never buy until I've read reviews or tried it elsewhere first...

No I do not trust BW like I used to, so will wait and see before signing up to another round of ME games. After launch,  when enough comes out to make an informed non fan boy type opinion. I may wait a month maybe two then buy it, then again I mighty jib the game at that point.

I will pre-order the collector's edition, for sure

ME:A is being made by a mostly new team, with fresh ideas and new optimism. I'm sure it'll be great.

I'll pre-order it right when it's available. Most expensive edition there is.

Thinking about pre-order collector's edition but fear they will do the same as with DA:I CE and I won't be able to get it in my country.

Ah... Pre-order, the concept could have been funny if it wasn't so sad.

But hey, suckers never die.

The really funny thing is, many times people actually pay more for pre-order if you take into account the fact that currency can lose value over time.

Pre-order is more or less a sure thing for me and I'm considering pre-ordering the collector's edition if I like what I see in it.

What happened in your country? I'm curious since my country had stores where the collector's edition were avaliable and my country is relatively small.

I usually "preorder" stuff a day or 2 before it's released so I can preload it and that's about it.

It's little different for me than if I order a book from an author whose work I've been consistently enjoying. I can make a bet that I'll enjoy the work based on how I've enjoyed the previous work.

There are a lot of entertainment material such as comic books and certain books that are avaliable in other countries but are not avaliable in mine. There is an import store in the capital city of my country but it's legitimately cheaper to order online than pay the traveller's fee and the price of purchase.

I did this with "Astro City - the Tarnished Angel": I was able to see some samples of the writing and arkwork and so went for it online. It helped that my local library was able to acquire a copy from another library in the country so I could read it beforehand. I think I had to wait a while to recieve it. Thank god for libraries.

I did decide to order "The Masked Empire" based on liking the samples I could find and my interest in the premise of the novel. I did the same with "Vol'jin: Shadows the Horde".

I live in Poland and in here we don't have Gamestop and they don't send games here too so the only way for me to get one was ebay/amazon that why I bought Deluxe edition instead.

That why I hope this time they don't make CE only as Gamestop exclusive.

I'd say wait for reviews before buying the game but when it comes to bioware I usually pre-order.

Seriously. Statues are better than exclusive DLC. Gimme a statue and a cloth map and I'm set.

To this day, I've got Alduin looking down at me from the top of my PC.

Not a fan of physical stuff.  However if a special edition is available that is mostly digital content I may have to consider pre-ordering due to the rampant re-seller issue I have in my area.

Ah, that's why: I got mine from the local Gamestop. I'm guessing the collector's editions bought by others for online sale tend to be priced absurdly high?

I've very thankful for the local Gamestop in my town. The people there are very friendly and very helpful. One employee went over the boxes for the collector's editions of Dragon Age: Inquisition to see if anything was broken and if it was, he'd see if it could be replaced.

I personally pay for full prices for games that I want to support the developers, in particular, Bioware games. For games and developers that I could care less, I would wait for the 40-50% off to pick up their game if I even bother.

I like the things I got from the Inquisition box especially the tarot cards. I lo-ove the tarot cards.
