Hell no. There are developers I like and trust far more than BioWare that I wouldn't preorder for.
Who will PreOrder?

I won't but if I'm hyped enough I will buy it a couple of days after release. Much will depend on how the game will be received and how MP will affect my SP experience.

I'm surprised to see people still want to pre-order games. What Arkham Knight taught me is to never pre-order games, no matter how much I want to play. Publishers stop caring for the quality of the product if they already got their money for the unfinished product.

Yep, gonna pre-order (gotta see which version though, if there's a Special Edition. I'm a sucker for anything artbook or soundtrack related). In addition I'm gonna take 1 or 2 weeks off from work so I can play through it right away in one go ![]()

Wow these forums are busy ha. Was expecting like 2 or 3 replies at most.
As I said in the OP, I normally NEVER pre order games, mainly for the reasons listed in the above posts. However, I am a die hard ME fan, it's really all I play. I must have 2000+ hours in the trilogy and MP.
I'll be buying it regardless. Even if the reviews come in bad, I'll be buying it. It's Mass Effect, I would never not buy it, so I might as well get it day one. I've bought all three games and DLC at full price, as well as N7 day reversible T shirt and poster. There's no other game/movie/TV show that I'd do that for.
IMO, £200 (around what I've probably spent) is very good for the time and enjoyment I've had from this series.

Totally see your point, but on that logic, preordering is not the issue. You'd have the same issue buying on release day without a preorder. I never played the Batman games but I do remember the problems with that. On another note, I will never (or am very unlikely to) buy another Ubisoft Game. Farcry 2 was ****** poor after the first, and then they just got worse and worse.

I will preorder just so I can cancel it when I learn there is no Mako romance.

Well with me I am looking forward to the game and Bioware has done pretty decent with there bonus content compared to other companies. but as I stated before I have a re-seller issue in my area so you can't really wait on things like this since they get snatched up and then re-sold for 2-3 times the price on E-Bay and other sites.

I probably won't. Not because of scepticism, but for more practical reasons (lack of time and the need to upgrade my computer). Plus thanks to limited time, I want a first playthrough without technical difficulties. So waiting until the patches are completed seems like the best option.

For Bioware ME. No. Afraid not. I've little faith in them. If player reviews, not from this forum, are good. Yeah, probably buy after the price drops.

Seeing how the Collector bonuses have sucked in ME, I won't bother with preordering that. Preordering the standard game.......50/50. I'll be getting it from Ebay anyway, because Australian game stores are highway robbers. They overcharge like crazy. A $45 game in US store will be $100 on Origin here. Both prices US dollars, not converted to AUS dollars.
At EB Games it will be like $130. They seem to have a "sensitive spot" for that price here.

I'll definitely wait until they have patched the game a bit so it's playable and price has dropped a bit too. DAI was pretty bad when it came out with various problems in all platforms so I think it's better to wait a bit.

I don't pre order the Dragon Age stuff but I do with Mass Effect and always have. Haven't been upset yet, so I've already got money ready to throw at this one as of right now.

If there's a digital CE then i might well do, but it will only be a couple of days before game launch just so i can preload, if it's physical media then no.

I'll preorder. The games I play are few; there's nothing being released in 2016 that I will buy. I know I'll get Mass Effect regardless of anyone else's opinion on the game. Might as well get the preorder bonuses.
I'm also looking forward to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in addition to ME:A, might be the other game I'll pre-order and play before ME:A comes out for something to do lol

Or I'll wait for my GF to give in to EAware and buy it for PC, then bum off her until I can find a console version for 10 bucks off the internet.
Oh really? You're an A-hole Moses. LOL!!
