I don't pre-order much - hell, I barely buy physical copies of games at all - but I know I'm gonna play this regardless of the general reception/reviews from critics I have similar tastes to - good or great or terrible, I need to find out for myself when it comes to Mass Effect - so I'll almost certainly reserve a copy. It wouldn't do to break the Collector's Edition streak at this point, anyway.
Who will PreOrder?

I don't know if i pre-order the game (had a lot of bad bad experiences with this kind of sale system.)
I might if ME:A is playable on my Pc. Have to wait for the official system requirements.

I have a simple policy, if I liked a previous game I'll probably pre-order the next one.
Now I didn't buy DA:I but I see the ME games as separate. Since I enjoyed the MP in ME3, if the MP in ME:A ends building upon that I'll pre-order.

Even if they were showing appealing gameplay and story tidbits I wouldn't pre-order. After ME3 and Inquisition I'll be waiting for (trustworthy)reviews and player feedback.

I will pre-order, but I never do that until about a week prior to release. Bioware has had its disappointing problems (like PC interface for DA:I), but they have yet to produce an actual failure of a product (like say X:Rebirth). It usually only takes one really bad game to drop a developer from my 'safe to pre-order' list too.

I will pre-order 5 copies just to annoy people who thinks i'm an idiot for doing it.

People need to stop buying season passes as well.
Biggest rip-off in gaming right now.
Why season passes are a rip-off when the concept of it is that you get all the dlc for less money?

After Inquisition and after what I've learned about a 'younger crew' I'm debating whether to buy it at all, never mind pre-order.

I'll pass. Pre-ordering in general is barely ever worth it. I haven't seen a store where I'm from sell out of a triple-A title in over a decade, most of my purchases are online now anyways, and pre-order bonuses usually boil down to either cosmetic items, or in the case of ME3, a few guns that become obsolete within 2-hrs. of gameplay.
That's not to say I won't pick it up day 1. I plan on following the game's development, and if I like what I see in previews I could be convinced to jump in. However, I pre-ordered ME3, and was a little bummed with how that turned out, so I'm still a little wary about a day-one purchase, and I think I'll give it a week in order to read some player reviews. Not to mention if there is another backlash, I can just wait a month and buy the game when the price is halved like it was with ME3.

I'm preordering. Sure, I say preordering is bad and it's a root of problems for gaming, but, this is one of my favorite series. I couldn't get ME3's collector's version because gamestop was sold out.
So you bet I'm not only going to Preorder, but I'm getting the most expensive version there is. As soon as it's announced I'm walking my self to the nearest store that lets me preorder to slap down money and tell em what I want

After Dragon Age 2 (mediocre), Mass Effect 3 (bad) and Dragon Age: Inquisition (awful) my expectations for this game are very low.
So no. If the USER reviews (critics can't be trusted anymore) and the general consensus are positive, then I will probably pick it up shortly after release.

Only if it comes with a stuffed Krogan. I'm hideously jealous to my brothers gaming related stuffed toy collection... Also I will be working abroad at the time ME:A is released, so no point really in pre-ordering.

No, Bioware doesn't really deserve a pre order anymore. As for when to buy it, I will wait for user reviews.

Which edition will depend on the contents of the CE vs regular pre-order perks. I love game art, so if it includes a lithograph I'll go for the CE for sure.

No don't think so. I pre-ordered the collecter's edition last time and look where that got us. I will probably buy it fairly soon after release but I'm not doing that again.
