We already had sex scenes in previous games and they are only getting more sexualized now. DAI had uncensored boobs and asses. Compare that to the underwear sex we had in DAO.

Now I can only think of a bunch of things that would punish players for the most inane things.

 

If you have "Hide Helmet" checked and you go into an area that's a vacuum or toxic, you have to die and start over again because you're not wearing a helmet.

 

Hey, that's real role playing.  Someone might want to be a character who ignores hazard warnings.

But you could only romance someone of one gender. Your character couldn't display their bisexuality. You would just have to headcannon it. 

Yeah I hate how shepard couldn't read or write in the games... :/ Just had to headcanon it in there If I don't see it in the game I have to assume it doesn't exist at all, you know? I mean, sure you can flirt and/or romance both men and women over the course of the games, but you're not really bisexual unless you have a constant orgy with at least 3 people of varying genders.

I'm just I'd rather have some power exchange roleplay or something with someone (which can be very sexual) rather than penetrative hetero sexual intercourse with protection, because the former is just more fun than the second.

 

Not that sex is off the table but unless it's for procreation I simply don't think it's very compelling... it's just friction to me... just mutual masturbation.

You're right. They had romances that focused on the romance, not getting in the other person's pants. Hopefully MEA will have romances like Josephine and Solas. Even sex being optional like with Blackwall, Dorian, and Sera would be a step up.
