Although from what I hear imitating TW3's side quests wouldn't hurt the ME franchise at all.
Some were duds though

You have to admit though, the combat in ME3 was better. ME2 was good, but the way they balanced the harder modes just felt a bit tacked on.
Yeah, ME3's combat is the best in the series by far. I'm replaying ME1 right now, and... well, yikes is all I'll say. Fighting Biotics is the definition of not fun.
Only thing Mass Effect can gain for TW3 is the side-quest design, and even then I think Rockstar games and Obsidian games (especially New Vegas) did that better than CDPR anyway.

Too bad most people don't think so TC including me.
I'm still shellshocked from the immunity spam. God that was a nightmare.
Ye gods, don't remind me. At least I play a Vanguard so I can Warp to lessen the impact, but still...

The gameplay was just awful. It's honestly a miracle that game made money.
The combat was awful, I thought the story was all right. Cliche, but those things, unfortunately, make money.
Oh don't be such babies, maybe ME1 was weaker game wise it wasn't too significant though if I remember correctly.
Hate to break it to you, but nobody in the videogame world (meaning those people that make videogames) are going to ignore TW3's success. You can bet Bioware took notice of CDPR, considering they faired exceedingly well at creating the type of game it seems Bioware is attempting to create. Specifically a vast, expansive game world that grants the player a good deal of freedom whilst weaving a branching, choice-based narrative.
Despite the games flaws, it set the bar.

-sees who is OP of thread-

P.S. can't forget to add my main gif for these kind of threads...

yeah i never understand those that claim the have invest over 300hs on Witcher 3, i never could replay the game (outside the DLC, thansk god you can just play it w/o replay, since i got a save corruption for blood and wine).

Rockstar...are you kidding me?
Indeed. Absolutely flawless.
I thought meant Mass Effect 3, but yeah I agree with the above video.

Just looking at your avatar I am glad the hound is back.
Rockstar...are you kidding me?
Not really. They follow a similar system of ''meet quirky character, then do chores for said character, then final payoff where you seal said character's fate and may or may not have a choice with various rewards''. Sometimes TW3's sidequests have more mechanical/emotional depth, but I find Rockstar adds a greater variey of situations, such as driving people around or something like that. TW3 mostly asks you to kill stuff in most sidequests, albeit some do stand out like curing the cursed Jarl and, in Blood and Wine, the tourney.
First of all, as a game TW3 is excellent no doubt. For quest design and graphics and story wise are really fantastic.
For lack of respect for women this I can agree with OP. They are treated like crap at this point it is the truth. Not every woman want to be ****ToU Violation removed****. (especially not by a man who has ****ToU Violation removed**** countless women) There's side quest in Skellige a girl can beat every man in combat in the village so nobody is gonna marry her. She becomes inferiority because of this. What the literal heck?!
And yeah in Heart and Stone the two soldiers imply doctors can't be beautiful girls. Make me just wanna punch them in their sorry faces. I personally despise people with narrow aesthetics. Those who think Only white skin, sharp face, large eyes, small nose and mouth and super sexualized body are the very definition of beauty. Some even compared TW3's women with DAI's and complained that Cassandra, Sera and Vivienne are ugly as hell. In fact they are all really pretty in their own ways, I personally like them very much. They just don't match those pitiful and pathetic narrow definitions of beauty.
DAI did a good job presenting different kinds of appearances of men and women. I hope BioWare keep up at it.
You didn't even play the game, did you? You don't even have a clue behind what the game is about. You are just jabbering on about **** you've been told about third-hand from other people.Just another example of TW3's sexism. The fact that it has a damsel in distress that has to be saved by some macho douche.

Ciri is not a "damsel in distress". Hell, it could easily have been the other way round with her power - and in fact there is a time in the lore where it was that way round. The relationship between Geralt and Ciri is of father and daughter. Not "man trying to taste youngest ***** possible, without becoming a pedophile".
th witcher 3 is based on books, as the characters, both men and woman have their problems, it is not mysoginic at all, first you should complete the game and see for yourself and then analyze everything in a context. ME:A is an entirely different type of game, it cannot be influenced neither by the witcher nor any other game out there, and on either the first mass effect trilogy nor in dragon age series or in DA:I tere is lack of respect for women and there is lack of respect for minorities.
don't worry , andromeda will not be influenced by the witcher because it is simply impossible
there are characters in DA:I that i didn't like but i don't write they are "really despicable" i just accept it for that is what the writers or developers wanted and they wanted to tell a specific story and that is perfectly fine.
Indeed. Absolutely flawless.
Thank you man, as much as I love the first Mass effect (it was the game that made me fall in love with the rpg genre), the combat were chaotic the cover system was **** and the AI both ally and ennemies were stupid.
And yes guys, that was the "real" Bioware before EA came to own them, the one who did baldur's gate, well that bioware made the first mass effect which was from perfect and had all of those problems.
I hate when people talk like the bioware before being owned by EA was flawless for... oh yeah nostalgia of baldur's gate, kotor and neverwinter nights....
