Bioware, please don't let The Witcher 3 influence Mass Effect Andromeda.

That's because Bioware was not as enlightened back then, as it is now. Its better if the industry moves forward instead of repeating the same sexist tropes of the past.

Dragon Age Inquisition was full of pandering, and misogyny, and "heteronormativeness" and "sexism" all the things you are supposedly regaling against, much moreso than previous Bioware games.

I'm not trying to tear DA:I down because there's lots of fans of it here but your logic and conclusions are backwards and whatever it's problems I can still appreciate it for what it is.

TW3 comparatively had less, see how that works?

DAI didn't have anywhere near as much misogyny as TW3.

I'm not sure why no one realize that the OP is a troll and actually reply seriously, he also made a thread about transgender that got deleted and Kroganphobic for not wanting to romance a Krogan. Even some of his replies are obviously pretty baiting. He's the master baitor at this point due to how successful his troll threads are and how he could get away from the mods.

Well, it is not as we got any funnier to do. It is interesting to see how much effort he/she is putting in each comment.

S/he is a dedicated troll  :D

Bioware, please don't let this disgusting dudebro simulator influence you. The game is stupid and has a really despicable protagonist. Please don't ruin Mass Effect by imitating CD Project Red. You're better than this.

I actually welcome some of those things being in Andromeda. The world isn't a nice play, and should not be made to look as such. There needs to be darkness in the game if it really wants to delve into mature, adult themes. Mass Effect is not a game for kids.

The Witcher 3 wasn't mature. It was a game designed towards sexist, edgy, teenagers.

There is absolutely nothing that can justify the game's treatment of women.

Both stories can be kind of suck at times but you SJWs and TW fans and whatever are fighting and destroying the thing that was better than both (original Bioware)

You DA:I zomg the character is a man Bioware fans are just really freaking annoying is all, and ditto sometimes for the TW fans any reason you guys can't go off and make a game together?

Wouldn't it be easier if we all ignored his/her when s/he makes a thread? I am pretty sure that method is working on kids.  :P

Tell that to the company that no longer makes games in any way shape or form resembling their original inspiration.

I was originally going to applaud the OP based on the thread title, but I leave here conflicted, to be honest.

Partially because of what exactly they claim of the Witcher. Now, sure. I don't exactly love that series, and I'm rather vocal, but...

I feel there's flak for the sake of flak here. It actually reminds me of the supposed affair a gaming magazine tried to create because the Witcher was apparently "racist" due to lack of blacks in the game. It is, however, based off the novels by Sapkowski, who, to my knowledge, based the world off of medieval Poland. Most medieval Poles would go a lifetime without seeing a black. Even today, they seem relatively uncommon, and we live in modern times where rapid transportation is readily available to most.

I can think you should basically ignore someone, but if the person I care about doesn't well then...

I have to say, I'm amazed RagingCalgarian is still going strong after all these hours. I ate, took a nap, watched half a movie with my wife, and now while eating again, I find him going strong.

You, sir, are the king.

The answer is simple. Don't base your games off of sexist novels.

Aha, I think I got it. You are talking about how Bioware may take what s/he said seriously?

But I don't think Bioware is THAT stupid. right?

Well maybe not those comments, but whatever happened they changed in ways that pretty much eliminated their original identity.

I mean where anywhere is the Bioware most of us knew? It's just gone, completely as far as I can tell. This MEA "trailer" confirms it.

It's a good thing I've moved on to other areas and stuff, because this is all junk.

Oh, believe me, I would never waste money on that useless junk of a video game. I got a free copy, played it for a bit, just to see what its like, and then I threw that copy in the trash. My concern is how the financial success of this atrocity will cause other developers to follow in that same path.

Well, I am not a hardcore fan. I only played the dragon age games and the mass effect trilogy, so I may not be able to say what their "Original identity" is.

But I think it may be little silly to judge a whole game on a teaser. (just look at how people get all crazy over 4-5 sec of a alien girl)

Better to wait for the real trailer and some gameplay before judge them. :)
