Screwed up getting her banter to get the Cute Nug gift and it bothers me that she doesn't have it lol She said she didn't like the dity ones, but whatever. Kinda don't wanna load an earlier save so do you still get the codex even if you missed a chance to give it to her in Origins??

Dragon Age Keep doesn't record it. So it doesn't matter. But there is a letter mentioning Smooples II or something. So again, it doesn't matter.

Yes, DAI always includes a Schmooples II codex whether you gave her one in DAO or not, recruited her or not, killed her or not. In fact, the Keep doesn't give you the option to say whether you gave her one or not.

 

Basically, the worldstate assumes you gave her Schmooples regardless of what happened in DAO. (I assume she got her hands on a nug pet and named it Schmooples whether or not you were the one to give it to her.)
