Do you know what you're going to name your Ryder? Who is he/she going to be and was their an inspiration behind your choice?

 

I'm probably going to make a female Ryder right off the back and name her Ada, after Ada Lovelace who is considered to be the first computer programmer. I figured it'd be fitting that it's in the same vein as Sally Ride who is Ryder's inspiration being the first of something and being female. Probably make her like the Sentinels in the past game if they have anything like it, decent jack of all trades but clever with tech. I'll probably be mostly paragon for my first playthrough (depending if the system is still similar,) with moments of renegade when she feels it's appropriate.

 

It's a new universe, how are you going to approach it?

Name: Logan Ryder. Ethnicity: Hispanic/Caucasian. Class: Vanguard. Occupation: ARKCON Pathfinder. Former N7 Special Forces Operative, Martial Arts/Biotic Combatives expert and instructor, and Noob explorer. Nice guy who will stand by his morals, never hesitating to do what's right but is no pushover, will let out his renegade side without second thoughts if necessary. Protector of innocents. Destroyer of evil. Badass fighter and powerful biotic warrior. Strong Supporter of interspecies cooperation and equality.

I was thinking about Sally, actually. Which would probably be a good default name, considering who Ryder is named after.

 

I might go with Sarah, however.

 

And, yup, you noticed right... I'm going to continue my trend of slight weirdness and play a female character, as pretty much every time.

Also, I'm even considering default appearance, if the trailer has shown the default... which I do not quite doubt.

 

As for class, definitely Infiltrator if it makes a comeback, or something similar. Cloaking and sniper rifles are cool, right.

Nope I don't think that far ahead, I usually just google names at the CC screen. She'll be a biotic though, that's all I'm certain on.

Quite so! It's something of a compromise, honestly--I'm pretty much incapable of resisting the super snarky dialogue options when they're available, but I want to roleplay someone who's at least somewhat Picard-esque - particularly considering the whole 'to boldly go' thing we've go going on in Andromeda - so I'm gonna try and find a happy middle-ground.

Stefan, or something, possibly mage biotic (adept)  (Because nobody loves adepts....), I dont like too much the paragon/renegade system; the always kind, wide smiling guy, or a cruel jerk. I want to be a good c0ck.
