Indeed. I basically never play me, largely 'cause any character with a substantial resemblance to myself would probably just take the first opportunity presented in the game to curl up in a bed and then stay there while everyone else does all the scary fighting.

There's a few posters going for the same name. We should compare pics once the game is out.

 
You know, there's is something a bit sweet about the choice of name as a way of honoring her since I believe I've read that Valentina Tereshkova always wanted to go back into space even if it was on a one-way trip but as far as I know, she was never able to.

Note: her quote about space bringing people together regardless of country or political system becomes a case of the literally in the Mass Effect universe when you consider space brought aliens including humans together.  .

Yeah, I'd say this is more frequent then creating characters that are a reflection of myself.

Roleplay. You can be whoever you want. I usually create a person more like me. Strong Paragon. Of course I can't speak for everyone. I was wrong. I guess I just contradicted myself. But that's what I do in terms of morality.

My Ryder is going to have a secret ambition to be on a soul name basis with every Hanar, which will never happen because obviously not all, if any, of the Hanar are going to Andromeda. My Ryder will love jellies, jelly fish, jelly sandals etc, and it all stems from when she got stung by a jellyfish in her childhood, and being a masochist the sting wasn't a negative thing for her, and the sting made her obsessed with jelly. Also her name will be anjellyka.
