I was just sayin. Ryder is supposed to be a reflection of you.
Ryder can be but does not have to: I frequently create and roleplay characters that are somewhat to completely different from me.

Indeed. I basically never play me, largely 'cause any character with a substantial resemblance to myself would probably just take the first opportunity presented in the game to curl up in a bed and then stay there while everyone else does all the scary fighting.
There's a few posters going for the same name. We should compare pics once the game is out.
You know, there's is something a bit sweet about the choice of name as a way of honoring her since I believe I've read that Valentina Tereshkova always wanted to go back into space even if it was on a one-way trip but as far as I know, she was never able to.
"After being once in space, I was keen to go back there. But it didn't happen".
"They forbade me from flying, despite all my protests and arguments. After being once in space, I was desperately keen to go back there. But it didn't happen."
Here is some more light-hearted quotes from her;
"Hey sky, take off your hat, I'm on my way!"
"Anyone who has spent any time in space will love it for the rest of their lives. I achieved my childhood dream of the sky."
"It doesn't matter what country or what political system you are from. Space brings you together."
"I see Vostok-6 quite often in the centre for cosmonaut training. And every time I pass it by, I stroke it and say, 'My lovely one, my best and most beautiful friend, my best and most beautiful man.'"

Note: her quote about space bringing people together regardless of country or political system becomes a case of the literally in the Mass Effect universe when you consider space brought aliens including humans together.

Yeah, I'd say this is more frequent then creating characters that are a reflection of myself.
Roleplay. You can be whoever you want. I usually create a person more like me. Strong Paragon. Of course I can't speak for everyone. I was wrong. I guess I just contradicted myself. But that's what I do in terms of morality.Ryder can be but does not have to: I frequently create and roleplay characters that are somewhat to completely different from me.
