who wants one?

The Elcor and Hanar are useless in combat, but there are some Volus badAZZes on ME3MP.

Want? Sure. Possible? Highly unlikely.

Question: Can he be a Vanguard and can his callsign be "Cannonball"?

I'm just glad we have a Krogan again.

I like the volus and all, but having to talk to them often would get grating so quickly. The breathing sound would make me want to pull my hair out after a couple conversations.

Yes it can get very annoying  after awhile.

Volus are only ever really employed as comic relief (Niftu Cal), tubby villains (that smuggler from Samara's recruitment mission), or quest givers (Barla Von).

A filler race with annoying hsk sounds to just create the illusion of being an interesting alien race when really in the way they are used in the series, they might as well just be human.

Nope, sorry.

I don't mind to see them as NPC but certainly not stealing a spot on the squadmates at the expense of more charismatic and useful characters.

You've got to be kidding, the only use they'd have in combat would be providing you with some extra cover.  Or rolling them down some stairs like a bowling ball to send the mobs scattering....

You forgot the Volus Mercenaries from Multiplayer ;)  Good support characters. "Payday!" + "Let's get paid!"

Well, a VI-Targeted heavy canon doesn't sound useless (so Elcor aren't useless) - Hanar? Well...they might make good vehicle operators with all their tentacles :)

A volus as a squadmate would be neat. I'd like to see the race in an overall less comical light in the main story. :)

Would rather he just stay on Tempest and pay for everything.

Did someone call for a biotic god?

I think a volus squaddie might be fun. :)

If a Volus isn't a squad mate I'm canceling my preorder.

If they are in Andromeda, they won't be able to wax financial with us, or moan about them not being a Council member, so hopefully that will mean that if they are in the game we'll get to see them in a different capacity or see them fleshed out more both as a species, and with individual characters, so they are more on par with the other races IMO.

The hanar and Elcor suffer this as well, I'd like it if they were more explored more, just a bit.

It wouldn't be logical for an ammonia based race to included on the "Ark". But I would love to see them.

Considering we don't know what we will find out there, I don't see the problem. They may be more suited than us to many environments... which makes them mandatory to bring along! :P

A Volus as a squad member sounds like too much fourth wall breakage to me.

Nobody takes MP classes seriously anyway as half of them are... unlikely.

I doubt that - Bioware made Elcor, Hanar and Volus into silly sidekicks that meant for you to point fingers at and laugh, Which is kinda sad because these races were interesting but i doubt that they will return ..but I'm sure that we will find somebody new we are meant to laugh at in Andromeda.

I do not think a volus would work as a squad mate, but I would be all for one being a member of the crew on the Tempest.
