The Elcor and Hanar are useless in combat, but there are some Volus badAZZes on ME3MP.

Question: Can he be a Vanguard and can his callsign be "Cannonball"?
I'm just glad we have a Krogan again.
I like the volus and all, but having to talk to them often would get grating so quickly. The breathing sound would make me want to pull my hair out after a couple conversations.

Yes it can get very annoying after awhile.
Volus and some Vorcha with flamers pls.
Nope, sorry.
I don't mind to see them as NPC but certainly not stealing a spot on the squadmates at the expense of more charismatic and useful characters.
Volus are only ever really employed as comic relief (Niftu Cal), tubby villains (that smuggler from Samara's recruitment mission), or quest givers (Barla Von).
A filler race with annoying hsk sounds to just create the illusion of being an interesting alien race when really in the way they are used in the series, they might as well just be human.
You forgot the Volus Mercenaries from Multiplayer
Good support characters. "Payday!" + "Let's get paid!"

Well, a VI-Targeted heavy canon doesn't sound useless (so Elcor aren't useless) - Hanar? Well...they might make good vehicle operators with all their tentacles ![]()
Would rather he just stay on Tempest and pay for everything.
Only if they're a biotic god.
Did someone call for a biotic god?

I think a volus squaddie might be fun. ![]()

If a Volus isn't a squad mate I'm canceling my preorder.
It wouldn't be logical for an ammonia based race to included on the "Ark". But I would love to see them.
Considering we don't know what we will find out there, I don't see the problem. They may be more suited than us to many environments... which makes them mandatory to bring along! ![]()
A Volus as a squad member sounds like too much fourth wall breakage to me.
Nobody takes MP classes seriously anyway as half of them are... unlikely.
That could be kind of fun c;
I doubt that - Bioware made Elcor, Hanar and Volus into silly sidekicks that meant for you to point fingers at and laugh, Which is kinda sad because these races were interesting but i doubt that they will return ..but I'm sure that we will find somebody new we are meant to laugh at in Andromeda.
I do not think a volus would work as a squad mate, but I would be all for one being a member of the crew on the Tempest.
