DA has created a main character every game, perhaps its time to let us play them all in one game? Having us play the warden, Hawke and the Inquisitor in different parts of the game, with the actions of one character potentially changing the world and shaping the options available to other characters would be interesting. The Witcher 2 and 3 already did this to an extent, allowing you to play Geralt, Triss, Ciri etc. in different places. It would also make DA more "low fantasy" in the line of George RR Martin novels.
POV Game (Or playing as more than one main character)

It could be fun if Hawke and the warden aren't both dead, which is a distinct possibility.
Warden is super unlikely to happen, but I suppose anything can be (and it would mostly be in this case) retconned.
I can imagine Hawke but ehhh not really. But a big part of me predicts playing a section of DA4 with yet more Hawke (yes I know the Fade stuff, but I have other broader ideas about that).
The most likely possibility to me is Inquisitor and a New Protag.

Hawke is an exception, a bit - the dominant tones from DA2 make Hawke such a strongly drawn personality that I think s/he'd work really well as a companion. I actually thought and hoped they would do something like that in DAI, and of course they did, although not in the way (or to the extent) that I was hoping.
I don't think they should split it up with multiple PCs and perspectives though, no.

I'd rather they stick to cameos or keep old PCs out of the spotlight.

I actually kind of like the idea covering separate areas of Thedas with separate lead characters. Switching back and forth between chapters and areas would make it easier to maneuver and you could cover more ground. eg: 4 characters in Tevinter + 4 characters in Orlais + 4 Characters in Free Marches all with tasks to complete, once one task is completed in one area you continue to the next group. There would be a central point that everyone would have to get to so they can drop off quest items and exchange info and eventually lead to a final battle with a mix and matched final main party. (I just picked those locations off the top of my head, not because I had any preferences.)
I found with such a big world, having one main party felt like my team was wandering aimlessly and not accomplishing anything at times.

I wouldn't mind if it was the Inquisitor (given their connection to Solas) and DA4 protagonist, but I'd rather keep the Warden and especially Hawke out of it.
