Well there was a thread on this awhile back probably connected to romance scenes but what do you guys think in the context of MEA? I'd enable a poll but as I see the options tend to be
 
A) Never no skin showing even in shower etc
B )Maybe skin but camera pans out from genitalia etc or
C) (Not really present in many games, if any, all skin showing, plus genitalia, etc)
 
I'm just going to go ahead and state I don't really have a problem with C except I only think it's the best and most appealing option for when it's more in "erotic art" category at the appropriate moments sort of thing, although my sense it would probably come off more in the "Pornographic category" than "Erotic art" but hey you never know maybe they can pull it off... ok probably not anyway this is my topic thread.
 
In fact, I think I've seen "erotic art" imagery with the naked body that doesn't feel 100% quite honest either, but I guess that's just me... but yeah the point is the vast majority of the time it's more pornographic.
 
But yes, in general the human body and form is heavily stigmatized, particularly unclothed ones, it would be good to reduce terror and fear of the penis or the breast, both of which have been accused of chaotically rip apart families and debasing the morality.

she does. And that why she should be with garrus and not little ***** kaiden. Garrus was better than kaiden in many ways. If I made a femshep I would've picked garrus because he's boss. Garrus(archangel) would whoop kaiden any day. That's sad. You just want kaiden for his body. How rude. But who am I to say I wanted to cheat on Ashley with Miranda. I didn't but I wanted to. Nothing nad would've happened between me and ash but I'm not like that.

Okay, I guess I should actually comment on the real subject of the thread: I thought scenes in ME1 were fine.  I also think the scenes in "The Game That Shall Not Be Mentioned" are fine.  Even DA:I was mostly okay...I guess.  I'm fine with love scenes.

 

P.S. Garrus is fine too, I really like him.  But Kaidan will always be my .

Depends. Biotics can use their powers in hand to hand combat as well. Garrus wouldn't necessarily win.

To be fair, he said himself he was never able to use that much power as in that situation. But he could still use it on a lower level, so I agree that Garrus isn't necessarily at advantage, if not the opposite.

I don't remember him saying that. I remember him saying that this kick was equal in power to his current biotic level. But then "I've always held back a little when I used my powers on living targets. Fear of hurting someone, I guess. But after what I saw on Eden Prime, I'm not holding back anymore. So it was rude for FemShep to love Kaidan because he's a fantastic lover who love her body so well?.... especially when they're already in a three years old relationship together. Both Council Spectre. Both high ranking officer in Alliance military

 

 

Garrus and FemShep's relationship was not remotely platonic. They have barely have a year old relationship by ME3 (minus six months separation), also what they have was sexual in nature.

The Turian is also a biotic and he killed Vyrnnus when he was seventeen. Only a year after he received his L2 implant.

 

Didn't everything with Garrus in ME trilogy required Shepard to fix something for him? His investigation on Saren. The ambush in med bay. Dr Saleon. His crusade against the mercs on Omega which you're required to save him. Later, helping him murder his former friend who was tortured and already suffering from survivor's guilt. The Turian-Krogan Alliance. He even have his father persuading the Primarch of Palaven to give his Reaper taskforce team... 

 

If he's really that badass on his own, he wouldn't need Shepard or nepotism for all above. And he would have accepted Shepard's offer to spar together instead of chickening it out. Also, I don't care about dumbing down my Infiltrator's skills just to make him happy. Wuss..

ME2 was the first Bioware game I picked up. I wound up romancing the unappealing dud Jacob as I just couldn't stomach bird man or reptile. When I saw Kaidan on Horizon, I was hoping he was a romance option. Needless to say, I've since played the entire trilogy and Kaidan is my canon romance.

I don't hate kaidan. I just believe Garrus is a better LI. It doesn't matter if he isn't human. I see by your name that you like kaidan. I could care less would you think of me but I'm just expressing my opinion.

All these people who want someone for their body and not for personality. So what if garrus is a velociraptor man. He is a great character who knows how to calibrate gun. He had more character. He is a real man. I would want to be someone like Garrus. boss. Oh but when a man is particularly fond of a woman's looks over another everybody loses their minds. We're all hypocrites here. Can't just appreciate someone for their body alone. Garrus was there all the way. I felt kaidan felt kind of dull. Just my opinion. I don't care. I let him die to get with Ashley. And sure I wanted Miranda for her body but I didn't do it. sure when it came to aliens ash was kind of bogus but Miranda seemed to full of herself.
