Hello,

 

 I didn't know that setting my username on BSN would me a permanent choice and right now I'd need to change it. I was browsing through to contact Bioware support itself but I'm new to these forums and I just could not find it, so I am asking this way.

 

I've come to a conclusion that I cannot change it myself therefore if anyone who can would contact me or would somehow be able to help me change my BSN username, I would be very grateful.

edit: Well, I've figured it out myself by deleting the account (deleting other BSN account first to ensure my Origin account stays intact) which then enabled me to log in again and set my new username. Just if anybody would want to know. The only reason I was bothered with BSN was that I'll need to use it later on to get ME2 DLCs (which I haven't bought yet, even though I have 3 complete trilogy playthroughs >.<)

Go to your profile and click on "Edit my Profile" (top right) or click on your name at the top of the screen with the drop down menu and click "My Settings". Look on the left and find "Display Name" (third from the top), click on it. Then just type in the name you want along with your password, and click "save changes".

Thanks for the reply, however, does that change my username on social.bioware.com or does this allow me to set my username upon first login as it was originally?

Yeah I need to change my Bioware Social Network username, just thought I'd start a thread here if it was possible to do without support.

There might be some confusion arising from the tendency for people to refer to TBF as BSN. Just in case, I'll elaborate:

 

- BSN is archived, and cannot be used normally, anymore. You will not be able to change your username for that site.

 

- You can only change your username for Origin or TBF. Changing your ID via your EA/Origin account will change your name on Origin and for your EA login, but I don't believe it has any effect on your username here. Contact EA for further details if it is your Origin/EA user ID that is the problem.

 

- To change your name on TBF, follow Lynroy's instructions.
