I currently have ME2 installed through my Steam library, although sits in my Origin library as well. Over the past couple of weeks I keep getting a TOS and EULA acceptance from Origin for an ME2 update, which I am continually cancelling out of. I figure that if EA wants to roll out a patch to a Steam-installed game, maybe they should be should push it out through Steam, but I'm kind of at a loss on how to stop it from adding itself to Origin's download queue. Any suggestions or help on how to make Origin behave? Thanks.

I think it's because you have two versions of ME2 installed on your computer.

When you update the Steam version, the Origin version wants to update too (assuming you ticked the box that says keep my games up to date).

So you should pick Steam or Origin to use ME2 (not both), and uninstall one of them.

I personally have all three games on Origin (Trilogy Edition upgrade), and I uninstalled ME1 & ME2 on Steam to prevent conflicts.

Would that this were the case as it is easily fixed. However I only have one installation of ME2 and that's under Steam. This is why the Origin thing is making me scratch my head -- Origin shouldn't be aware of my Steam installation. And since I did all of the DLCs through Bioware's self-extracting executables, I can't even blame Origin for picking up on DLCs.
