Now I know it may sound TOO simple or really stupid but thats my idea of a good thermal clip system, Have the same overheat mechanic from ME1 and make thermal clips rare or atleast uncommon (Since we are in a different galaxy and I doubt enemies have the same weapons as ours) Thermal clip is a thing that should be used in emergencies lets say you are in the middle of a boss fight and you gotta kill it quickly
Lets say your gun overheats but you neeeeeed it now! THAT is when you use a thermal clip. So? sounds gud? or nahhhh
