I mean, think about it. Bioware has such a huge female fanbase. Probably one of the biggest in the industry. They also tend to be more vocal and passionate than male fans. I see alot more love for FemShep than I see for MaleShep. Maybe, that's a sign that there is more worth in focusing on just a female protaganist, rather than giving the option of playing a male character as well. Plus, it would do wonders for the industry and really push things forward for women in video games. On top of all that, they can use the resources they saved from scrapping the male character on other areas of the game. The end result is a more superior MEA.
Is it really necessary to provide the option of playing male character?

Scrapping male character choice would allow them implement more in depth multiplayer options.
This is a great idea, imo. Is much more superior idea.

3/10 trollbait. You're losing your touch.
It's not about how obvious the bait, it's about his incomparable ability to make the magic last. Sit back and watch.

I just got a warning for calling out threads as "troll", put it in quotation mark just to be safe, so you better be careful.

FemShep only accounted for 18% of all playthroughs. Also, just because a character is playing FemShep doesn't mean they are female. Hell, just because they are playing BroShep doesn't mean they are male.
Why do you generalize and group female gamers into such groups? Do they have to conform to your generalizations? Why do you hate women so much?

The percent was larger with DAI and will likely be much larger with MEA. BIoware is alot more progressive and female-friendly now, compared to a few years ago.

One of Bioware's staples is allowing the player to have choices, including who the protagonist is. The sex of your protagonist is literally the first choice in all of their games. They aren't going to get rid of that staple.
Plus what about LGBT+ men? You're a champion of the oppressed and yet you are oppressing LGBT+ men for something they can't control.

Without resources wasted on a male protagonist, think of all the features we could potentially gain:
* bewb sliders
* butt sliders
* moar hairz (still bad, butt moar)
* umm, other lady-specific stuffs (Edit: totally sounded creepy after the fact. Not creepy stuffs!)
You guys get the point. This could be a GREAT idea.

No, we don't need any additional sexualization of the female protagonist. Taking away the male protagonist, can allow them to give more dialogue to the female protagonist, or to add additional quests, voice work, etc.

Still missing the point, FemShep players aren't all female, and BroShep players aren't all male. Just go back to Tumblr with all of the other people who can't stand the fact that men exist.

You assume those are for sexualization? What if people want that to for example make the breasts and butt smaller?

Then only allow them to make it smaller, not any larger. We don't need to encourage people that women must have big breasts and boobs in order to be acceptable in a video game.

Give Ryder her own alien harem. It's always male harem, it's time for female empowerment and Ryder has her own female harem.

So now you're discriminating against women who naturally have big breasts and big boobs?
And dictating what standards of female beauty are appropriate?

But what if they are too small, and look unnatural. Are you saying big breasts on women are wrong. My god, the misogyny is overwhelming.
