Why would I? This is a different character and I'd rather not make Shepard 2.0. Plus, this a much better game engine and it's easier for me to have more variety in my PC's appearance.

Ohhh, imaging if they did not have to start at scratch and instead could start from Inquisition's character creator and work on improving from there

will you be using the same face from the trilogy?

Hell no. They better have nicer hairstyles and facial hair. DAI had some bull**** whack hairstyles. And better noses.

if bioware makes a plot twist that ryder is shepard's clone, maybe.

No. Ryder is not Shepard. I'll probably end up using the default as I did with male Shepard and ME3 female Shepard. I'm fun like that.

And there's no way my Ryder will look like my Shepard.  For one, she's a totally different character and I'm quite happy with my Shepard having died(?) to save the Milky Way.  For two, I'm hoping we actually get some good black hairstyles this time around.

I hear that. I really want to make my Ryder look like Angie Stone, and part of that's dependent on hair choices.

On my first playthrough, I usually make a character that has similar features to me (male, dark skin, black hair etc) Then on my second playthrough I make a character with different features (female, fair skin, curly hair). In subsequent playthroughs I keep changing my PC to whatever I feel like playing at that point. Helps keep the game fresh.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Y'all mother******* at bioware have better been doin your homework. We want, no, we need better hair styles and a whole lot of em, better noses, better facial hair for men and makeup for women( I'm not sure if that was a problem or not but I'm adding it to the list anyway), hair physics, tattoos, build sliders, scars, I don't do piercings but people want them, and early access to plastic surgery if we **** up. Anyone else want to add to the list?

I don't really have heroes anymore, but you may very well be chiseling yourself an idol.

I create the same set of characters in every video game. Their backstories change based on the universe, of course, but they're basically the same.

I don't really have a plan for how my Ryder is going to look. Not planning on making them a Shepard clone, at least.

I usually play around in the cc until I get a character I like. Some are white with blonde hair like me, some have darker hair, some are people of colour. It all depends on the options in the cc.

I normally play as a default in my first play throughif it looks good. Mshep did that for me in the trilogy.

I doubt I'll even be able to re-create my Shepard face. I do hope this game has better presets, especially for East/Southeast Asians.

Hopefully they also have better options for afro and curly hair, as well as dark skin colours. The darkest possible colour is nowhere near a West African skin tone, whereas the lightest is like a Vampire.

Custom Ryder all the way.

My "canon" Shep was female, so I'll give MaleRyder a spin on my first trip through Andromeda.

He'll definitely look different than my MaleShep.

Nope, I was able to create some decent female faces in me3 but my malesheps looked like abominations (not that bad but always a bit odd) all the time. No way I'm bringing this ugly humanoid being to andromeda.

More serious: shepard is shepard, ryder is ryder, why should they look the same?
