Should you get a special bonus if you have ME3 on your computer?

I wouldn't mind PC special treatment, but that would be hypocritical of me. I despise pre-order bonuses and the likes. The only acceptable bonuses for me are those part of a collector's edition.

It wouldn't be a terrible idea if not for the fact that it cannot be extended to consoles given the new platforms MEA is released on. Essentially if you can't do it for all you can't do it for one.

Don't see why it'd be impossible, given the fact that the game also requires an EA account on console.

Should Andromeda give you some extra bonus if you own ME3 on your computer? What do you think?
Don't forget the console gamers as well or should they be left out of the extra bonus as usual ?

I don't think anyone should get any exclusive DLC. I would like less meaningless little nothing DLC in general.
Might be cool to offer a discount for folks who have the trilogy on their Origin accounts. CDPR (I know, I know) did that for TW3 for players who had the previous games on GOG. I think that's the sort of thing that Bioware should consider taking away from CDPR's success. No gameplay or development cues, but smaller scale fan appreciation acknowledgements. The goodwill engendered by such a move would justify itself pretty quickly I think.
I'm sure they could apply this to console gamers as well by tracking achievements.

I'm not a fan of pre-ordering games. There are some games that I plan to buy because I am a fan of the series. That's a very short list, though. What I don't like are incentives that contain content in some form or another. I rather see a price reduction instead.

Only if I get a free year on my Xbox Live subscription for having it on my Xbox 360 console (since it's not yet backwards compatible for the Xbox One and I've been waiting patiently for that to happen).

If anything it's not going to be "install based" it'll be based off of your Origin account which everyone has.

Can the "bonus" be an apology? 'Cause I'd reinstall it just for that.

What? No. What in the..? Just no.
I'm primarily a PC gamer. I own the entire series and all of the DLC on PC, save for Omega (I hate Aria and I have no interest in her DLC.) PC players already have the luxury of mods. Enjoy it and don't ask for special treatment for the PC Mustard Race.
yeah i own both the ME and DA series on PC and am primarily a PC player. But I don' texpect anything like that all I want is a good game for my moneywhich both the ME and DA series has given me so far. I don't have ME installed atm but I do plan on reinstalling it as I have a playthrough I want to finish and another I'd like to start at some point

No. Because I may have had ME3 on another machine and now I don't. Not everyone keeps every game ever installed on their machine. Or what if I got a new PC since I last played ME3, and I never installed it on my new PC?
Plus, what are they going to do to detect the ME3 installation? Search your entire hard drive for Mass Effect 3? That's highly inefficient.

Actually, the bonus is a special butthurt patch. You put it on the part of your butt that is sore after playing ME3.

It's as easy as logging in in the game for exclusives. And as many have said it'll more likely be another one of their current blockbuster games ie battlefield 1, battlefront, or something of the like they'll have a cross promotion of.

I don't own any console, but couldn't it just check for the presence of any achievement/trophy in your account? Those persist even if you uninstall the game, right?
