Hello this is my first post as I am new. I've looked around and haven't found anything related to my specific case....

My question is: If I told Liara lets just be friends after the mars misssion am I locked out of romancing her? I know there is an option later in the game on the citadel where Shepard can say let's be more than friends but I want to make sure I still have this option. I romanced Liara in ME1 and Liara(LOSB) and Miranda in ME2. I told Liara lets be friends becasue I hadn't decided between her and Mirand's @ss yet, but after seeing that Miranda doesn't play a big role I have decided on romancing Liara. Note: This is my first playthough so please no spoilers. Should I revert to a faily old save or can I mend Liara heart still?

Friendzoning Liara during ME2 (LOTSB) definitely doesn't preclude romancing her in ME3.  However, I'm really not sure about the consequences of friendzoning her early in ME3 since I really haven't done a playthrough where I have romanced Liara in ME1 where I haven't offered to rekindle the relationship right away again in ME3.  She is more liberal than Ashley, but I somehow think that if you do friendzone her during and right after Mars, you probably do lose the opportunity to romance her later on similar to losing the opportunity to rekindle a romance with Ashley if you don't say exactly the right things to her during Mars and in the hospital.  I do know that offering to rekindle a relationship with Liara right after Mars does not preclude you also offering to rekindle a relationship with Miranda (or Tali or Jack - or Garrus if Femshep); that is, you're not locked into romancing Liara until after the later conversation where you indicate you want to be more than friends.
