Play a fat turian because they make your shitty guns Good
Absolutely true, glorious tempest Tsol is probably the best weapon kit that you can have when starting the game

Ahhhh that's what you meant. Evn taught me how to play as Krogan but I didn't like it.. it's too butch and manly for me to play myself. I prefer to play the more feminine characters lol, it's probably lame but just didn't feel right with such a hard core character
Haha I play with the feminine characters... mainly Asari but the Fury and the human females and things like that too
Krogan do feel kinda wrong to me but not because of their gender but because of how you play them I think... theyre just so unlike me
the Batarian ive tried is good though I think its just the Krogan!
Wow, girls. Looks like I'm the polar opposite when it comes to characters: Nothing pleases, entertains and amuses me more than playing the biggest, sturdiest, toughest kits! (Except Volus but they are a whole different territory of rolling around as a mean, small killingmachine.) And you've seen me, I'm very womanly irl.
The batarians and krogans are my go-to guys if I feel like just roflstomping and shooting - or what I like to say "Grenade? What grenade... I'm a Krogan, no fåcks given!" ![]()
Damn, I haven't unlocked the Batarian yet!! But I really really want it
I like the Quarian Engenier too though.
I just discovered the BatGuard.. can't believe I've totally overlooked him. Had so much fun biotic charging around like sturdy, dirty scubag.
OT: sorry for hijacking your thread, OP. I agree with the others suggestion to silver for now, and/or less gunbased characters. That way you'll be more help to the whole team, too, in the end. The gun upgrades will come slowly but surely, and in the meanwhlie, you can hone your power characters skills.
Kills are overrated. Assists are where it's at.
Totally agree ![]()
Until I get really really really goooood and become a mean killing machine xD
You play a Krogan kit (I prefer this Vanguard myself, build doesn't really matter) against Geth. Play it on Gold or lower and use your highest Cyclonics.
Then proceed to headbutt or melee everything that moves until you feel better.
(If I may....)
I heartily endorse this product and/or service.
If other players are stealing your kills, then you need to cloak moar to confuse them as to which enemy you are targeting ![]()

To add onto this. Play as Geth vs Geth to further confuse teammates. I shoot my Geth teammates all the time.
Overkills are where it's at.
Fixed.
Claymore headshots all day.

we have been using Gavorn's tricks like this for years, also smashdept, Juggy are others to confuse pugs

Fresh meaty pugs don't know that though ![]()

Nonsense.
How can i dislike a post here?
Tell us what guns you have at high level, and we could make some helpful suggestions. Also, some guns synergize well with certain characters (QFE is awesome even with Claymore at level 1, for example) so I'd also ask which ones you have unlocked.
This deserves to be restated. ![]()
Also, plenty of valuable tips on this thread. RHA is important, but also learn how to trigger different combos. I would suggest using the acolyte if you have one and slap it on a power-based kit like the adept. Can't go wrong with that, IMO. ![]()
^^^^^^^^ Disregard this post
Why? I assumed that if he's here asking, he's been playing at least a little while.
I will say however, that if you are indeed *brand* new (meaning > 200 hrs) you shouldn't be playing platinum. So he's kinda right.
Platinum is eesee. Just flamer geth or vorcha and get someone else to chain overload all game. Have a demogirl with harrier and homing nades for armored bosses that get close and its gg.Why? I assumed that if he's here asking, he's been playing at least a little while.

I always end up shooting the guy that plays the Collector Adept.Always.I shoot my Geth teammates all the time.

I end up shooting vorcha. They glow red like enemies on my geth scanner. Sorry vorcha mates.

VORCHA STRONGEST! VORCHA NOT CARE!
I always end up shooting the guy that plays the Collector Adept.Always.

Everything OneMore1968 said is true.
I would've been a horrible designer and placed Store and Difficulty restrictions on new accounts if I'd designed it.
You will all hate this, and rightly so, it's a horrible design.
Recruit Packs and Jumbo Equipment Packs would be available from the start.
5 Bronze games (wipe, success, extraction, whatever) unlocks Veteran Packs.
10 Bronze EXTRACTIONS unlocks Silver Difficulty.
10 Silver games (any outcome) unlocks Spectre Packs.
25 Silver Extractions unlocks Gold Difficulty.
20 Gold games unlocks PSP/Arsenal/Reserves.
50 Gold Extractions Unlocks Platinum Difficulty.
25 Platinum Extractions unlocks UR Pack (1 base consumable, 2 silver consumable, 1 gold consumable, one UR, for something like 700k Credits)
Yes, this could be seen as punishing alt accounts, but the saddest part is, it would probably re-inforce the stupid newbs bullrushing up the difficulties and leeching, so it really is all a bad idea (Except that UR Pack, I would buy that).

I actually think that would be good... it would be a good build up
and it would mean you could only play higher difficulties when youre ready and that means itd be good for bad and good players too... although id probably take away platinum difficulty altogether and let you unlock everything after gold extractions because I think platinum should be optional
the only problem is I think if a platinum player went to bronze with ultra rare weapons while everyone else was using common ones... the other players wouldnt do anything
in that way I guess the current way is better because everyone has an equal chance of getting new things and playing higher difficulties when they feel ready... but i like the idea in general ![]()
I always felt like the MP lacked... progression and structure.
Sure, it's BEST to max commons, then uncommons, etc. And only move up difficulties when ready. However, I always felt like it was a little too open.
Boring wall of text in spoiler, probably not even worth the time it took to type it up.
