Have you tried shooting targets in the head?
Use armor piercing, and level up your guns. Level 1 guns are going to do bad. Stick to powers if you have low level guns. Also it's okay to play silver untill your guns are higher

Stick to silver for now. Use power kits over weapons kits. (Vanilla Human Adept is a supremely useful early tool.)
Learn the maps so you can walk backwards from RHA to RHA.
Learn what RHA is. Right Hand Advantage, cause you'll be spending a lot of the game looking
aroundthrough a corner at enemies. >.> <.<
Sacrifice something or someone to the RNG gods and pray you get the Geth Scanner early on, and that it levels quickly.

Geth scanner is useful even when not playing.

Can confirm. Or poison strike and then dodge. Or poison strike in and poison strike out. I'm just in love with her atm, she's so much fun.

Geth Scanner is the unquestioned overlord of gears. Unless using an HM kit, then there are a few other acceptable alternatives ..

I don't know, would being able to see exactly where the enemies are through walls and cover confer some kind of advantage on the player?
