There are clearly Krogans in the trailer. However I believe, in the screen grabs below, you will see that alien fights with the squad is not a Krogan. I grabbed a couple of shots from the trailer. 

1. Gun: We have never seen a gun like that before. I also believe that is the same blade held to the Asari. 

2. Amour: Why would they let you take amour like that with you onto the Ark(s). Again something we have never really seen before. Bones tied together, kind-of wasteland-ish.

3. Picture in the trailer: There is a picture above a dev and I believe that is one of the new races in the game.

 

Let me know what you think. (Side note it does look very Krogan like)

It's a krogan until we find out otherwise. What good does it do us in believing that it is anything but a krogan? We don't have a name for him. We wouldn't have a name for the species. What we 'know' is that it is a krogan. That's more than we'd know if it was believed to be anything but based on the information we currently have, which is next to nothing.

I think he is a Krogan. 

I heard they are trying to give some variety into aliens' models.

He can be a young Krogan as Grunt or even a female Krogan with her face exposed.

If he is a new alien species I'm gonna be a little mad about the uninspired design

I'm going to assume Krogan until proven otherwise. I'd be unhappy if they left out my favorite MW race.

That's a Krogan he's just got his head bent forward.

 

You can see the crest and everything.

I think it's definately a krogan. His head is partly obscured by a shadow, but his head plate is pretty much the same.

That particular asari I'm not a fan of.

It's a Krogan. The head crest looks identical and the armor is very similar to the armor worn by Grunt and the ME3MP Krogan. 

1. Not surprising. We will likely have many new guns, both from us and from Andromeda race, and since that woman in white is the protagonist then that Krogan is a squadmate. Since we can equip squadmates with guns, he is just holding that one because in that playthrough Ryder gave i to him. 

2. The decoration on the armor I bet was added after arriving in Andromeda. Maybe we meet the Krogan after they felled some strong beast and they wear the bones as a badge of strength.

3. The race in the picture you are referring to looks like a Turian to me.

Lol, OP, I just saved the pic to my phone, changed the contrast and brightness of the image to remove the shadowing - anybody can do it with ease, so I won't bother uploading it:

You can see his headcrest, almost identical to Wrex's and with the shadowing removed you can see a hint of a Krogan eye.

Yeah, they would need to be a LOT more creative.

It's a krogan. Bioware wouldn't go out of their way to design a new alien species that looked that similar to a krogan.

Man, it's a Krogan. The video is blurry AF and that's the reason why every frame is also blurry as F thus you think it's some sort of new alien because you can't see any details. I thought the human was some sort of alien because of the helmet shape in one scene.

Anatomy wise looks like a krogan, has crests like a krogan, has krogan-like armor with the hump and everything.

 

Again, this would be much more easier if we had access to the uncompressed official Bio trailer rather than watching youtube's horse s*** video compression.

That "none-krogan" looks more krogan to me then supposed asari who doesn't look much like asari.
