I know Dutch loves to troll from time to time, but i do wonder what type of missions the team will use to pad out the gameplay hours for MEA.I hope they don't contain all the negative aspects of ME's planet scanning, DAI's WT, and Fallout 4's settlement system. Mind you, it's all speculation but still...
MEA will be a 150 hour game

Tons of replay value.
That's what I'm looking fforward to
That's why I love playing Bioware's games because they have plenty of this.

150 hours? Maybe for the people who managed to wring 1000 hours out of DA:I, a game I 100%ed in 50 hours and never wanted to touch again, ever.

Commander Ryder! There is another base that needs your help. Here, I'll mark it for you.

If it is as good as DA:I then bring it on. Hundreds of hours of fun and hopefully another fully realised world.
Indeed accfording to Origin I've spent nearly 2000 hours in the game. I'll probably pass that mark on my current run given I'm still quite earl yin the game with my current quizzy

The length of a game means little in determining how good it is.
BG2: 150 hours
Portal: 5 hours
Both are excellent games.

The original Mass Effect felt like a long azz game. For this reason I could stomach only one playthrough

Also, unless you altered the clock for the WT missions you'd have to wait irl between 5 minutes-20 hours.
No actual waiting involved of course, since you are presumably playing the game in the meantime .

It can't be any worse than Skyrim. I am currently questing so I can find more ore to build my houses. I pick every plant so I can make potions. I am constantly looking for mats so I can use the forge and increase my armor skill. Things like this force me to explore and discover new things. It is part of an open world concept that gives the player a chance to go new places. I don't think this is boring nor is it tedious. IMO it adds to the overall experience. If you think it is tedious then stick to the story and do not farm mats. Problem solved.

With one character?
I've gotten something like 300 hours spread out across 6 chars in Skyrim (I had more in Oblivion and Morrowind).

It will be 150 hours or so and half of that time will be dedicated to collecting resources like in DAI.
I hope it's more then 150 hours and what's wrong with collecting resources ?

So...Bioware just ripped from World of Warcraft Garrison mechanics, which was one of the most despised additions in the recent expansion.<<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>>
ME:A will have AI Strike Teams.
Some good news, though. The AI Strike Teams can improve if you level them up and provide them with better gear. In turn, they can tackle harder missions and return with better results (equipment, blueprints... etc). Oh, also, Strike teams return within a 30 minute period, I believe.
Somehow, in a space game with Interplanetary and Interstellar travel, sending a AI Strike teams on a mission and have them return within 30 minutes "real time", is a bit weird.
Great!
