Is it bad to practice polyamory in ME2?
Can one experience more than one love interest without in the same game without negative consequences?
I want to experience them all like in Dragon Age, but I sense we are confined to one and that there may be negative consequences down the line if we attempt to romance more than one person

I haven't had much success with my romances thus far but I think it will end up being like ME1, with them confronting you at some point and demanding you choose. As I said, though, I haven't really triggered mine yet, as far as I know. I could be wrong.

Even worse, the developers are saying your romance actions will carry over into ME3...

I've been romancing EDI like crazy. Doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I want free Normandy upgrades!

If you'll notice, in your cabin on the desk is a portrait of your ME1 romance (if applicable).

Why's that a bad thing? If you romanced someone in 1, then someone else in 2... well, eventually the first one will find out about the second, and vice versa. It's hard to keep stuff a secret around the Normandy, it seems.

I don't mind people finding out as long as it does not have negative or unintended consequences.
Think of something cropping up at an unexpected interval during the game...perhaps you lose someone's loyalty etc...because you chose to have some fun on the side
If that is going to happen I hope Bioware wil give some kind of warning so that people dont make choices they can regret later

Yeah I've heard if you select "continue" you can try out the romance with different characters. I'm currently targeting Miranda and Kelly but I'm not sure who to pick. It's a tough one. I'm flirting with both.
I think I like Kelly's personality more off the bat, but Miranda is really growing on me.
