Eh. It looks okay. This game has a different art lead than the trilogy hasn't it? Some thing bear visual resemblance, like the Ark and obviously some species designs are kept, but a lot of the background art looks very different in art-direction to me. Some, especially the really space-y and alien stuff looks great but this looks kinda... eh.

I've gotta say, so far we have seen multiple concept art and in game images in which we can clearly see alien foliage which looks different from planet to planet. This is one of the things I wanted for Andromeda, and one of the recommendations I made when they were asking for fans input for the next Mass Effect game. So I'm stoked.

Yeah, the art direction will look a bit different, but in a good way - exotic, alien, diverse, it will give the impression of a galaxy of wonder and not just that every inhabitable world looks like an Earth clone like in the first trilogy.

Doesn't look like a strip club, maybe a bar or mechanic's shop from the look of it.

To me, it looks like part of an outpost/rest-stop with a bar, and perhaps overnight lodging upstairs? I'm definitely intrigued...

 

I really like the purple tones, the lighting, and the neon signs (goes great with the overall dark, dreary, wet atmosphere), and the giant mushrooms in the distance.

I love concept art! Such wonders it holds.

I'm not sure what to think this might be. It looks out in the desert, so to speak, judging by the lack of structures in the distance. An outpost for an up and coming colony maybe? Looks too set up for that.

I can see two figures in the image. Maybe the hint of a third but that could just be my eyes playing tricks on me. I'll just go with the two though. On immediate look, I believe them to be of a human stature. Whether they are human is another matter. Could be Asari for all we know. Both characters look to be of a similar build which says to me this is a singular species thing. They are also bipedal by the looks of things. It also looks like one stands guard above the entrance, further suggesting this is an outpost.

I believe this to be built into the rock. Look behind the guard in the top left corner. The texture. There are quite large holes almost drilled into what looks like rock. Maybe a mining facility? The signage doesn't support that though. Look more like an arcade or nightclub. Some place for leisure. A service station then?

I am liking the detail they've put into plant life. So, this planet can sustain life so chances are, a colony will be built somewhere here.

I think it might be a service station on the frontier.
