I don't know if anyone already touched upon this, but please Bioware, add more variety in the character customization in ME:A, especially for the female character. It was ridiculous that i had to add a mod of yennefer's hairstyle for my female Inquisitor in DAI, because 95% of the hairstyle offered in DAI was shared with the men's hairstyle. I know the game is in it's final stage, but damn it would be so good to see a whole lot of variety in the character customization.

Also, i'm not sure if it is possible, but in Fallout 4. the devs sort had a list of names that Codsworth can call you with, so if you call yourself in a name which is in the list, Codworth will call you in that name. Now i dunno if there's anything like Codsworth in ME:A, but it would be so cool to see a Mech call you by your name B)

I'm happy as long as the female protag doesn't have noodle arms.. always bugged me in ME. And I agree, a mech would be neat.

All I ask are some non-terrible hairstyles - Ryder's ponytail is a good start - a greater variety of hair colours - including highlights - and some basic body type options. Nothing too fancy - I know too much height variation, for example, can make cutscene framing difficult - but some basic muscle mass variations would be appreciated. I want my Ryder to have some soldierly 'swolness' going on.

It would also be nice for our protag to have a couple of hairstyles or something unique to them outside of the default look, something that sets them apart from NPCs. Squad mates get to have unique looks, I'd like for my protag to have that too.

Yeah, I'm half-certain we'll have a couple different body types. No sliders, but similar to DA:I.

Anything but DAI's playdough crap. And the hairstyles made me want to puke.

For some reason Bioware just does not do hair and for the life of me I don't understand it. We don't need 6 variations of shave head for male characters or 5 variations of hair in bun for female characters.

Option to be left handed

Different advantageous firing angles on subsequent playthroughs

Same here. Lets see if Bioware, after so many years, is finally capable to make a female protagonist that does not have spider legs growing out of her shoulders.

Bioware, you can do it!

Ya because it's so hard to use the search function and find the other 100 threads already on this.

I liked in TW3 how you had dynamic beard growth and various hair and beard styles you could change at the barber.  It was one of the many little touches that contributed to the authenticity of the world.  It could be funny if we could have a Krogan hairdresser as part of our ship's complement...or Vorcha.  ARH, YOU SIT DOWN NOW!

Same. I'd like to see more variety, and good looking short hair that aren't rip-off of male hair with balding hairline (shudders-really, who thought it was a good idea in DAI? It basically cancelled half the haistyles usable for females in DAI) or plain ugly. Plus, I'd love to have a more muscular female character. I loved the female Qunari in DAI, even if I felt she was still too thin if you look at the male counterpart.

I really hope the crap hair was a result of just running out of time/budget with DAI.

Didn't like the waxy textures of characters either

Yeah, a lot of people have already discussed this. Still, I agree. No more male pattern baldness for women, more variety in hairstyles (not the 10+ shaved hairstyles, and more long and natural looking hairstyles plz). Different body sizes are good too, but I'm not so sure if that's a priority for them. The more options in the CC, the better though.

I don't agree with the Codsworth name-calling thing. I think it's a useless gimmick and they should use their resources for more important stuff. I'd rather have 2-3 extra conversations with squadmates/LI's than a robot that knows 1000+ names. (And you'll only hear one of those in-game, anyway)

I'm picturing a Vorcha with flamethrower that forces me to choose from 6 bald hairstyles.

You people and your "resources." How many "resources" do you expect to be diverted for a feature like that? I don't even get what you're trying to say. Are you going to blame the "Codsworth name-calling thing" if the game is underwhelming? "If only they'd spent those ~*resources*~ on something else!"

I think one of those reasons why the hairs styles are  so generic is because they are incredibly hard to model....especially women's hairstyles. The higher processing power from today's systems can make modeling them a bit easier, but modeling hairstyles has been an issue amongst developers for years. Women hairstyles are especially challenging.

You have to create the hairstyle itself, then factor in scenarios where depending on the hairstyle has to animate properly without it looking weird or out of place. I think for the most part, the hair styles, for both men and women have remained static regardless of the situation, (wind storm/rain) etc....my point is that developers produce styles that can they can get away with them being static and looking as natural as possible.

Not an expert on this topic by any means, it's just that over the years, it's been something i've seen from various developers complain or struggle with...
