I feel like I'm probably the minority, but I couldn't care less about character customization.  I generally go with the default character in most games, excepting maybe some small changes.  I don't understand the obsession with being able to fully customize your character's appearance.

 

Just me.

 

A lot of people like using the poster-defaults. Nothing wrong with that.

 

Aside from that I find it immensely enjoyable to create the face of my character: defaults are typically white. If I want to play a different race I need customization. And the "presets" aren't really that fabulous, so the more tweaking available the better. 

 

There's also replays where I don't want all my characters to look the same.

I could have worked with ME's hair tbh. It was the waxy, blockheaded skulls I didn't like.

 

And from the side, most noses were either really crooked or had a really inverse nose bridge. No inbetween. edit: For male anyways.

I like default mShep, used him once, but hated ME3 fShep. blegh. Didn't care for the Hawkes either. Never used them.

 

CCs can be a trail in themselves, but I still enjoy it. I have a harder time with names, actually...

There's one jarring thing for me from the original Mass Effect, if I went with a brown color it ended up looking red/orange. So when it comes to hair I'd like to see a color wheel instead.

It seems pointless to add in a "default" fShep just for ME3. But it works for some people, so I guess that's good enough. Her hair, though... it hurts.

I wouldn't care if Ryder wore a helmet all of the time, as long as I got character customization through dialogue and the way we can react to quests. I don't want to be forced to be mopey when I'm not sad, I don't want to be forced to like someone when I don't.

 

Keep the interrupts as they are. But when I have a choice to speak, actually make it a choice.

Personally I don't do well with Bioware's character creation systems, so I usually choose the default or pick a preset and make minor changes. Face-scans of actors or models as default options would be great, they're always more detailed than custom faces.

I believ there are going to be color wells for the eye color, i would love to have one for the hairs as well. If not, then please more different color options. Even most mmorpg's have a lot of hair color options.

Better hair of course. I think long hair is kind of unrealistic when your ryder is fighting but there are so many possiple braided, tied or short hairstyles that can actually look good.
Also in DAI there was like one hair that was not constantly used for random npc's. I want ryders hair to be only raider's.

it's the future. Just tuck it in to your helmet. They aren't wasting gas masks anymore so your hair doesn't interfere with breathers or helmets. Beards shouldn't be a problem either.

Mostly the things I want for the CC are:

1) better hair/beards, cause please, this is obvious. ALSO BODY HAIR? I WANT MY CHARACTER TO LOOK LIKE WOLVERINE RIP

2) body presets, I wanna make a smol feminine m!ryder w/ wide ass hips man

3) tattoos

4) males can have female animations and females can have male animations

5) sorta like da:i sliders cause that was great. maybe some better preset faces too.

6) i wanna make my characters ass fat af, nobody wants their character to have a flat ass like c'mon

7) different lighting angles. instead of neutral, i would like the ability to change the lighting from dark, neutral and light to see how the charater looks in different ones instead of having "neutral" lighting.
