Hi there, 

 

This is my first post ever so I'm not exactly sure what to say but: I need your help. 

I'm currently doing the of somewhat fallen fortunes plot line for Josie and I don't want to destroy the contract. 

However, when on the wartable I literally cannot see the sponsor quest at all. Could someone maybe tell me where it is or send me a screenshot so I can check I'm not blind? I'm so confused.

Also, did you meet with the people in Val Royeaux, and after, with Josie in Skyhold? I think the quest only pops up after you did.

Iirc, you need to do a few things for Josie before you can get the sponsor thing. So you talk to her after the cutscene after you findout about the contract, iirc Leliana comes in and offers to destroy the contract. After that you talk to Josie and ask he what needs to be done first to secure the sponsorship. I can't remember what task is first but I think it is recovering a letter from a lost love for a lady in Val Royeaux.

So, I just did this quest today but there was no attempt on Josie's life. Very odd, since it's not like you can avoid it. You have to talk to Josephine and use the WT for every favor, and it's happening as you go through the door. Isn't it supposed to trigger after you do the first favor? Man, I'm glad I didn't miss that part in my last game when I romanced Josie.

Near as I can tell it only happens if you take your time with fulfilling the entire quest. Every time I've done it pretty quickly (doing very few unrelated things in between) there is no attempt on her life. But when I've waited after having the convo back in Skyhold where she decides she wants to raise the Du Paraquettes (or at anypoint after that) intead gone and done a bunch of other quests or just focused on clearing a zone when I come back and talk to Josie there will be an attempt on her life.
